If Ross wanted to stay he could have said it. Or his agent could have given out positive noises. (Even if he didn't want to stay he could have let his agent make positive noises to ease the media pressure). That is not the case and the silence tells its own story.

I think this is it. He has his reasons, it would seem Everton offered him an attractive contact but it was not enough to make him change his mind. I would love to see him driving the new Everton team on but unfortunately that doesn't look like a possibility.
If this was the situation last year we should have sold him for a higher fee - eg Lukaku got his large offer with two years to run - Ross was waited for till one year left? let that sink in to your head one player gets two years notice does not sign and is sold at a high price , Ross is left till the last year??????????????????
