No bids so far suggest he is nobodies priority, thus far.
RB isnt good enough to be able to pick and choose between CL clubs. I would be surprised if more than a club or two shows interesst in him.
Good player but different type. He's more than just a work horse like, but he doesn't have the vision or technique of the three mentioned.I'd say Tom Davies is the best produced outside of Rooney and Barkley. In fact I'd be suprised if Dowell ever gets a consistent run of games for us.
Yeah, I really wished that he'd been offered a new contract with a near 100% increase in weekly wage. Oh, hang on...If only Barkley was good enough that Koeman would have treated him the way he needed to be treated to keep him happy at Everton.
Oh well...
I suspect that if Barkley had been managed better then he might have signed up 8 or 9 months ago. Anyway, he's soon to be gone. All that matters to us now is how much? Who to? and can Everton learn how better to keep players committed to the club?Yeah, I really wished that he'd been offered a new contract with a near 100% increase in weekly wage. Oh, hang on...
Dave, there is truth in that comment.*sigh*
The only thing stopping Barkley from pulling on the white shirt of Spurs is that his buying club are COMPLETELY in control of the situation and dont see any reason to panic and offer anything other than the bare minimum that they can expect to pay. Our manager has stated Barkley is done here at Everton, so there's really no need to start putting down bids now given that they know he'll have to be sold this window for Everton to get at least some cash for the 11 years of development they put into him.Dave, there is truth in that comment.
We have seen that with some players this season the remaining length on the contract is not deterring clubs from expressing an interest and attempting to get dealsdone.
We are constantly told about the interest from Spurs but that interest seems contingent on getting a bargain basement price, it does seem that he is not considered to be a vital link that is missing from the team, you would have to conclude that he is a target to make the squad stronger and that he certainly will.
He's been pretty inconsistant hardly setting the football world alight for like over 2 seasons. I think a bit a kick up the arse is what he needed. Koeman has stated they offered a better improved contract.Whatever was offered - and you dont know how much of an improved offer it was, none of us do - whilst seeing a manager telling everyone you are a bit of a failure thus far in your career.
I wonder why a player with CL clubs as options to go to wouldn't extend his contract under those auspicious circumstances?

Good see ya later ross. We'll never know. The only thing we can pretty much count on is that Barkley has played his last game for Everton and that his next club will move shortly for him.

Incredible there must be loads of clubs after him.8 assists for 2 seasons straight for a creative midfielder is pretty consistent.
