I would rather keep him than let Spurs / Arsenal get him on the cheap. Keep him on the Bench for the final year of his contract as repayment for his lack of faith and disloyalty to us his hometown club. We would be doing him a favour as well I suppose, getting him ready for life on the Spurs / Arsenal bench.

They wont do that mate. Here's why: if he's on the bench (or even just still at the club) and Everton's slow coach attack splutters again and again, the demands to put Barkley on the pitch would be deafening. Koeman wont place himself in that predicament.

He'll be sold. We'll get £20M-£25M max for a player who should be going for £50M.

Maybe your right pal, but I would not like to be in Losses shoes if he has to come on when we are doing bad, imagine the reception he'll get?
Hopefully with 3 weeks left of the T/W to go that creativity void will be filled. Don't forget we have a lot of new players, they must have time to gel.

That's true. But what happens if the opposite happens and whatever team we end up with at the end of the window has a great season and catches fire, whilst Ross is on the bench/u23s? Easy to speculate...

Shocking this situation, Koeman has handled it bad from the off, however RB has not covered himself in glory. Can't believe the club has not stepped in when it's 2nd biggest valued player has been practically let go for free. The mind boggles, would love to know what has really gone on. Spurs don't really want him, they just want to weaken us and then sell the little scrote back to us for 3 times the price, Ross is thicker than a whale ommlette if he can't see that he is Pienaar mk2.

Good player but different type. He's more than just a work horse like, but he doesn't have the vision or technique of the three mentioned.
I think you and others vastly underrate Davies. He's quality.

Dowell just looks like the latest Jose Baxter to me.

...you'd think we've been like Usain Bolt when he's been in the side. For too long we've lacked creativity, especially away from home and against the better teams. We've hardly been devastating with Barkley playing. Arguably our best attacking performance last season was the 2nd half against Sunderland when we broke with speed and purpose. That was the game where Barkley was substituted at half time.

Ross wants like 150 a week. He's not going for even 35M with those kind of demands. It's insane. 150 a week for a bench player.

I dont underestimate him, far from it. He's a great little player. I'm just saying what I see: he's not the player technique-wise or vision-wise that Rooney, Barkley or Dowell are.
