At times like this, I begin to wish that I hailed from Lincoln or Swindon or Devizes or any part of the realm whose residents are blessed with small-town-mindedness, so that I too could revel in the faux comaraderie that blights our nation at present, as I wear my jacket less 3 piece complemented with foppy fringe and brogues, while dancing merrily on a pub garden table, ubiquitous pint of ‘lager’ in hand, wiv George-cross adorned ‘birds’ declaring ‘we love Ingerlund AND Chelsea AND Man United AND Liv......(you get the idea)’.

We have a bang average team, that are pulling together, with a great team spirit and supporting each other. I’d take this as a blue print for Everton next season.

As I said to you that was just like every Copa America or South American qualifier you ever see.

Doesn’t make it right but a stronger ref would have had that under control sharpish.
 

Was extremely surprised to see no form of brinkmanship from Ospina on the penalties. Literally just stood on his line, didn't bother moving, and kept his mouth shut the whole time. No wonder the England penalty takers were confident. Some superb penalties though.

You're acting like it can't be stamped out, but it can

Just start punishing them for it

Bans, fines, stripping places in the tournament

They'll soon shape up because they'll have no choice

They have to have it rammed home that this sort of behaviour will no longer be tolerated. It's the only way we'll clean up the game
