Round of 8 (AKA The Quarter-Finals)

I still don't get how the two halves of the draw are so vastly different. How can you have the 4 best teams in the same half? England are going to get to the final by beating Slovakia, Switzerland and, most likely, Netherlands. Absolutely ridiculous.
Because some of those best teams didn’t win enough games

France and Belgium could've won their groups and landed in that side
Belgium is meh anyway, their golden chance was between 2016-2020, i mean didn't they lose against Wales in quarters of 2016.
No more Hazard, De Bruyne is getting older and injury problems, Lukaku also declined and was never player for big games anyway, their chance has passed.

I'll go with

France
Netherlands
England (just, just)
Germany - think they'll benefit from
Some shocking decisions.

As the Semi Finalists.

Can't help but think that England will show some semblance of a football team tomorrow.

(Before Crashing out meekly against Turkey/Netherlands).

Spain, in my opinion haven't faced any decent sides so far, so Germany will be their biggest test so far, so far they've cruised into the Quarter Finals and have been the best side in the Tournament so far.

Germany, something tells me that they'll benefit massively from some bewildering decision and knock Spain out.

They rode luck against Denmark who never recovered from the disallowed goal/penalty incident.

That's not England's fault, of course, but it is undeniable luck. People say "but England earned that luck by winning their group" - but that argument doesn't stack up when you compare them to other sides who won their groups, like Germany or Spain. They won their groups too and have been rewarded with matches against each other and, if they progress, France or Portugal.

So, it's undeniable that Southgate has been very lucky. A good team takes advantage of such luck, though...

Bellingham fined 30,000 euros for his gesture, but crucially, cleared to play. I didn't even know there was a chance of him being suspended?
