This is not really the stat it thinks it is.

Poland, Ukraine, Switzerland and Austria all fell at the group stages when they hosted it.

Germany are the only ones to fall in the quarters as the other hosts have gone out either before or after it or old tournaments didn't even have quarter finals.

Didn't one of the joint hosted Euros see hosts go out early? Have an idea at least one of the hosts out of Poland Ukraine didn't progress that far iirc.
