Only thing that could backfire is the Swiss are used to this system whereas Southgate is throwing the dice.

Should have come into the tournament with a back three or players playing in their natural position at least.

Yeah it may well do, just think it's interesting that everyone is assuming a big change of system when all that's happened is one CB coming in for another. If they've briefed it's a change it could easily be a bluff.
