Drenthe is a great player!
He left Feyenoord to early and signed for Madrid, where he was never given a chance.
Although he looks like a chav, he is a really nice, soft and decent man! I can promise you that!
And, more important...I think he's a quality player. Very strong and fast! I compare him with Nigel de Jong (even a little bit of Davids).
Great signing, I'm looking positive to the future again! ;-)

watched him in the dutch 21's euro side in 2007 player of the tournament he is pretty skillfull, pacey and is not afraid to run at people, this is a very good signing in my opinion and glad to have him onboard, Baines n Drenthe down the left should be quite a daunting prospect for teams.

He looked awesome for the Dutch under 21's a few years back. Pace will be great and having bothe Seamus and Royston running up and down to get beyond players will be a benefit.

Dont know what his crossing ability is like but hopefully this Argie will eat them up in the box.
