Drenthe: "I can tell you it was a frustrating summer. If you are a young player who likes to train and play in a pre-season but it was not like that for me this year. I trained really hard to get myself ready to take another step to Everton"

Drenthe: "If you treat me good I'm a really good player."

Drenthe: "I'm good here and I've spoken well with the manager, I love the players."

Drenthe: "At the moment I'm training as a left midfielder, but I like to play on the right side as well so I can come inside and shoot. I think the best position for me is on the left side."

Drenthe: "I like fast football, I like tackles, I like to go in hard. You have to fight for your team. You have to go hard if you want to win a game. The only team who can play easily and win at the moment is Barcelona because they have so much quality. Against Villarreal they were walking in the game but won 5-0!"

Drenthe: "It's like my old team Feyenoord. They have the same mentality as here - fight for the team, fight for your club. I like that."

Drenthe: "You have to play good football to come to a team like Everton in the Premiership."

Drenthe: "Arteta was a big big player. Pienaar was also a good friend of mine. A player like Arteta, if he can do the same at Arsenal as he did here, will do well. I'm not playing the same position but I want to tell the fans I'll give everything."

Drenthe: "The first thing I will do is fight for the team and the club. If I can be important in games it will be really nice also. We have a really good squad with different qualities - really strong guys with quality in the midfield and upfront. If we get a good formation we can beat a lot of teams this year."

Drenthe: "I hope so. I want to make the people see I'm working hard for Everton. If the club like me, maybe I can stay."
