Well as I said I thought you were just passing something on so I wasn't trying to call you a liar! Sorry for any confusion there :)

When I responded in my head I was sure that post-Jan they're definitely wiped and you then need 10 for a suspension. A few people have
put seeds of doubt into my head but I'm still
fairly sure that's the case. I've tried finding the
official rules on the net but I can't seem to
have any luck so if anyone else with better e-
scavenging abilities wants to end the debate
conclusively go ahead!

Even if it was true though it sounds mental. I don't think I've ever heard of players being rested to avoid suspensions unless it's
something like in the WC or the CL and the
team have basically already qualified and so
rest their best players. We needed 3 points
and Wigan were there for the taking so if that
was the reasoning I have to say I think Moyes
has got it badly wrong.

It's got nothing to do with suspensions, do you think Moist needs an excuse to be negative?

No I do not. Hence me saying that I didn't believe this all along.

As some pointed out Pienaar, Donovan and Drenthe in the same team is something not likely to happen under Moyes. Even against Wigan.

Its not even a major shake up either. He plays pienaar over Cahill in that role...we get 3 points. Pure fact.

But he doesnt. He puts Neville on.

Id laugh at the thought that Moyes doesn't like to win football matches...but sometimes it seems that way.

Before Donovan came back Drenthe had contributed a THIRD of all our assists. Moyes often bemoans our lack of quality in the final third and how much it costs. Royston can unlock a defence and is free. Davey should be doing everything possible to persuade him to sign.

theres no excuse i dunno what you lot think, royston was quality tuesday against city from the off was direct and scared the **** out of city , if moyes wanted the best from the guy why not play him whatever , to be honest i was concerned that we would not perform after wednesday it appears there is not 2 games alike for us this season the points we have dropped against lower teams just is not good enough

I think Donovan would be great behind a big striker. Drenthe's best on the right. Pienaar gets the best out of Baines from left mid.

It picks itself if you ask me. Contrary to what the Equaliser said on here earlier (think it was him) they're not all rigid widemen. Pienaar is very comfortable centrally and Landon, going by what Americano experts like Kay say, is good centrally and very used to playing there. Klinsman seems to see that as his best role.

He can't tackle and didn't warm up today (apparently)....

Moyes would rather sell Rodwell and spend that money on a winger that can defend rather than get one on a free

It's percentage football with Moyes. Keep it tight and hope that something falls for us at the other end. Wigan went to three at the back in the end and even then Davey didn't think to try and exploit the extra space out wide.

He can do a lot of things if hed drop a certain player who has 1 goal in over a year and not play an aging captain.

He can also get us playing better football with no money...but some fans think that is impossible
