Only been to the Polive (see what I did?) once and it was ok. I always say why go anywhere else but Holdi when you've never had a bad curry from there. Strictly talking take out by the way, much prefer eating in the comfort of home. Well, on the rare occasions I visit LS.
Both pretty good as take aways or eat in tbh.
Been in both many times and picked up orders from both , the Polive is more convenient for eat in , I only live round the corner & the Ice cold Cobra goes down too well

Hello fellow food fans across the globe.

Having a tough time here picking which Ruby to get tonight, ive been a Korma man all my life, but now I find it bland and boring, so its time to upgrade.

Help me pick!

The choices are what ive narrowed it down too, other options can be suggested.
My specialist subject.

While online all Indian foods, and your poll lists some of my favourite, my curry of choice varies monthly.

Fish ones are always a delight.

At the moment I’m going for chicken chilli masalas, with a chilli chaat to start if needed.

Massaman isn't supposed to be spicy though. Hope you added potatoes to it to make it authentic. 👌
The paste was spicy but once 3 tins of coconut had entered the equation there was only a hint of the initial potency. There was baby potatoes (diced) in there I'm glad to say, with beef chunks. The Korma was Chicken. Vegetarians were catered for with a bowl of nuts on the sideboard.

I use the Als Kitchen curry recipes. They generally are excellent. Would recommend.
