Gonna sound like a massive gammon here but this isn't rugby. Neither offence should be yellow imo.

Problem is Rugby has huge issues with players developing head impact related illnesses. Its going to take a period of finding out what works to keep the players as safe as possible and the game competitive. I don't mind them getting it wrong as the intentions are the right ones.Just like footie, I don’t recognise this sport anymore as the one I grew up watching.
Same here.Gonna sound like a massive gammon here but this isn't rugby. Neither offence should be yellow imo.
When you look back at things like the Lions tour to SA in 74 and the punch ups that took place in that series, it would have been a 7 a side match by half time these days.Problem is Rugby has huge issues with players developing head impact related illnesses. You're the voice of reason mate and it's fair enough but imagine getting sent off for that in a world cup.Problem is Rugby has huge issues with players developing head impact related illnesses. But half of them today probably can't even remember playing. When you look back at things like the Lions tour to SA in 74 and the punch ups that took place in that series, it would have been a 7 a side match by half time these days.
Absolutely, its brutal for what is barely even an honest mistakeYou're the voice of reason mate and it's fair enough but imagine getting sent off for that in a world cup.
I'd defo let the punch ups slide, cant stand that goofy saffer lock grabbing shirts and thinking thats a fightWhen you look back at things like the Lions tour to SA in 74 and the punch ups that took place in that series, it would have been a 7 a side match by half time these days.
For me there's a simple solution, everyone including the half backs are the size of Lomu these days, there's no space on the field so everyone resorts to playing like a battering ram which increases the chance of penalties at more breakdowns and slowing the game down, and also increases injury; take 1 forward away and 1 back away, or 1 back minimum, make it a 14 man or 13 man game.
