Can’t go after us for this, usmanov is not attacking anyone. That’s like saying the Saudi’s, Chinese, uae owned clubs should relinquish ties with their clubs too as they don’t condemn what’s going on!
Well it's a good chance it's just a matter of time before each of those get involved in some controversy of their own due to their ties

There was widespread opposition to Newcastle being owned by the Saudis after all.

Necessary step. Just wasn’t a tenable position to be claiming to support Myko and Ukraine in general, while also putting up galleries of him in his Megafon training gear.

I cant think that anyone really believes we can attract a wealthy owner to take over from those two. What would they want with a club in debt to the tune of hundreds of millions and a team that are relegation candidates and have an archaic stadium with zero revenue potential and a beach where a new stadium is supposed to be?

It's utter bunkum to believe Usmanov leaving isn't a calamity because he can be replaced. No billionaire is coming in for this basket case of a club.
You’re entitled to your opinion and so am I Dave and I remain very confident that there will be a buyer prepared and willing to take on Everton.

Thats the funny thing isnt it? To get to where we want to be we cant take Russian blood money but Saudi/Qatari/UAE/Chinese blood money is sound.

Also it’s perfectly fine to be owned by billionaires who made their money trading with any of these nefarious states, but if you’ve got ties to one who actually lives there then that’s completely unacceptable.

Football has been morally bankrupt for decades. It’s laughable it’s now trying to get its act together. There won’t be an owner left in the premier league if they really start tracing all the money.

Rough summer / season ahead for us - be no money to spend in the summer, potentially will now fall foul of the PL FFP and potentially no new stadium.

At least we can be patted on the head by the Kopite media though.

1985 all over again this as @Drico Pointed out.

Don't think you can name a billionaire who hasn't dabbled in something dodgy. Unless its a 17 year old Bitcoin "billionaire" but that's just like saying Sonic the Hedgehog is minted cos he collects gold coins.
