Just been talking to my mate who is a Leeds fan.

It's mad, but they have the exact opposite view on their player and managerial targets to us - he was bemoaning the fact that they never go PL-proven, they always go for hit and hope solutions from abroad.

Leeds are at a stage in their cycle we were 3/4 years ago.

They’re run horrendously. If they don’t Buck the trend (and there’s still time to do it), they’ll be following us to ruin

Well we're following their trajectory of 20 years ago, so it's nice that they are returning the courtesy and following closely behind our disaster tractor's furrow.

Is Zidane that good a manager? So far he has only taken charge of Real Madrid. Granted he won the league and Champions League twice. But they are always there or there abouts in those competitions anyway. Be interesting to see what he does next.

No chance Zidane his waiting for the French job, but they need to learn that if managers keep Getting sacked then that’s an issue higher up with recruitment.

Unfortunately we’re in the ideal position to testify and why do it just after a transfer window where he signed players??

This season Leeds have basically mirrored us.

For all the wrong reasons! Same identical non-winning run, same non-sacking of manager before Jan, sacking straight after.

There’s no logic, there’s no logic to their signings either except for the young Italian lad.

They made signings whilst we didn’t so in the worst board stakes we won

joking aside if they were minded to sack him they should have done before the window closed

It’s a great question. All he’s proved is that he can keep big egos like Ronaldo happy and ensure that a team that is the best performs as such.

All I know is that he wouldn’t go slum it with anyone not in the elite with plenty of money and global superstars playing.

My answer is no until proven otherwise. I'd be shocked if took over a club and improved it substantially.

I don't think he had the emotional intelligence or composure to manage a club at this level; he looked as if he was under a lot of stress from the outset.

I really would not be surprised if one of Marsch, Lampard or Gerrard end up at Leeds or Southampton, which will ultimately take one of them down.
