He is still more productive than Cenk Sandro Davy Gbamin etc. Like I say - an option from the bench who is an international who cost no fee.
We need another first team striker of course - but with 5 from the bench he is still likely to be an option until we have the money to improve.
Christ - sounds like I'm running his fan club - but I don't see why he is picked on so much unless it's cos the fat man signed him.

He’s striker who can’t score and who struggles to arrive in the box at the same time as the ball.
He offers no hope on the pitch whatsoever.
I don’t hate the fella personally but as a player he is the personification of our collective failure not only on the pitch but, in terms of recruitment, off it also.
He isn’t the sole reason we nearly got relegated last season but his abject inability to deputise for the injured DCL contributed mightily to our failure and little to our eventual survival.

Rondon is not the reason we nearly went down.
There's several others much more culpable - but even then - it's not their fault that they are not good enough and were still selected.
He cost no fee and was only ever a back up to DCL. Doesn't deserve the hate imo.

Yeah I can’t argue with that red card which gave him an early summer holiday and dropped us in the poo

the thing is though, against Crystal P. when Ayew did that very same type of tackle on Gordon he wasn`t sent off. makes you think don`t it!

Not good enough however we are in transition and he may gain one more season as we don’t have funds to fix everything. We do need goals though and I am not sure they are coming from Rondon in the quantity we need

It’s embarrassing having this guy as our backup striker. Absolutely no goal threat. Could play all season and hardly get a goal. Needs binning and replacing
