Rondon has had no pre season and is not fit. He is about five weeks behind everoyone else. If DCL wasn’t injured, he wouldn’t be playing.

Simms and Tosun have only just returned from injury, so the realistic options to replace DCL are Gray, Townsend or an unfit Rondon. It’s a judgement call, but I can understand why it’s Rondon for now.

It really shows up just how little depth there is in the squad and how poor our academy has been.
