Rondon would be coming in to largely come off the bench for 10-15 minutes to try grab a goal / rest DCL.

That does no good for a young player.

DCL got a very lucky free ride after Lukaku left and we messed up recruiting his replacement with dross… I mean if we can’t find the place to give Kean a decent run, who was regarded as one of the most talented teen strikers in the world who we paid a mint for, what chance do any of our grads have..

If it's a short deal on low wages then I guess it's not something to fume over. He managed 35 goals in 140 PL games, literally 1 in 4, (he was playing in really poor teams it should be noted) so as an impact sub he could have his uses. That said, I absolutely hate how we're still a club that allows the current manager to bring in his ex-players who's man qualification seems to be they'll snitch for him.

If we get a RB and that Diaz fella then it will be a solid window.

Perception means a lot in football. We're viewed as a club where players can go and have a cosy time whilst making good money, not somewhere you're tossed out if you're not good enough. That's got to change.
