Ha Ha Ha.Paying compo to Palace is the icing on this cake.
Big Sam left to spend time with his grandchildren and family.
Had enough of football.
We come in, offer him £6m a year and the family can do one.
One greedy, corrupt money grabbing get.
This club is heading down Tim, that much is fairly clear. I never wanted Allardyce but I won’t lose my head over it as he will likely steer us to safety.Saturday sacking hopefully
Yawn! The only thing decent about that club was Tinker Man...and your board stabbed him in the back...and your fans accepted it.
...Paddy Power haven’t paid me out yet so this might be a premature evaluation.
I was more concerned we hadn’t appointed a manager than I am that Allardyce has got the job. I respect the very knowledgable views of well researched and referenced posters on here about the spiral decline clubs go into following his tenure. I do think we’re a bit different because we no longer have a hand to mouth existence as many of his other clubs did.
I’m not ecstatic with the appointment but I don’t mind it either. I certainly feel happier tonight than I did after Sunday’s game. I can put up with an organised team playing % football if it means we have mid-table mediocrity for 18 months or so. Allardyce isn’t guaranteed to keep us up but I think we have a better chance than we had with Unsworth.
