Worries me Sam talking about players for next season. These last few games will prove he isn't good enough and never will be. Just worried he's the Mosh's man.

I think Sam has to at least give the impression that he is here longer than the next couple of months or he will find it impossible to get the best out of players that know he is out the door. I don't think we can read a lot into his comments and that I can think of there have been no comments about Sam or the team in recent weeks from Moshiri, Elstone or Kenwright... and that also may be telling.

I have been of the opinion for some time that the board know exactly who they want as the next manager and Sam will be in place until he is ready to come... but, that may take longer than would suit many on here. I believe the next manager will be high profile and a big name.
I think it is unlikely Sam will be here next season but very far from impossible.

Is anybody else of the same opinion as me?

Marco Silva already on the our payrol. Why else wouldn't of Southampton gone for him?

I reckon he is pulling a wage from us already and he will take over on the 1st of July.

Im prepared to be vaulted.

Sorry if this has been mentioned elsewhere and missed it.

Weirdly enough manager's can say no...

Maybe because he isnt that good is one reason.
Hughes has been at Southampton in the past, was the obvious choice for them, more experienced in the Premier League, SIlva wouldnt be able to stop them leaking goals, besides its only a contract for 8 games for Hughes, Silva might of wanted more so he gets a nice pay off when they realise they have made a mistake and boot him

Totally agree with the points that you make.

The thing is me like you are sick of us being crap and if we don’t voice our concerns and cause unrest against this shambles of a management team, this board will quite happily go with this next season and that is something I cannot stomach.

Since the late 80’s We have become a bang average side, just making the numbers up, Goodison is like a morgue on match days.

The football under this buffoon is absolutely dier and always will be.

As much as people want to think otherwise the people in charge of the club are not stupid. They will be more than aware of the unrest amongst the fans. There is no way he will still be here next season (unless we properly mess up in appointing the next manager), I don't think he was ever supposed to be either.

The football was dire under Koeman, it was dire under Unsworth too, it's only natural as its the same players by and large. The past couple of games have shown some signs of recovery though. Not brilliant or anything but its been of a higher tempo. Getting our two full backs fit and back in the team will make a massive, massive difference which I think people forget when talking about how rubbish we have been too. All of a sudden we have threats on both sides of the pitch again with Coleman and Walcott (great signing by the way) and Baines and...Bolasie I guess. Combine that with Tosun starting to score some goals now and we may actually have a decent run in.

I don’t know why Saints would not have gone for him but I am absolutely certain Silva himself would not have gone to a club which, given the fixtures they have left, are likely to go down.

What an opportunity Allardyce has got with that derby in a few weeks time. He might not be able to save his job, but he will be sent off with a pat on the back if he gets a bruising hundred miles an hour performance out of our team upending them all over the pitch.

He needs to wind our players up to rattle into challenges and give them a game they fear most in the middle of a CL tie with City. They'd relish the chance to do damage to us in the same position, so we have to go out and try our best to ruin them. I dont think Wayne for one will be pulling out of any challenges.

Think saints problem is more not being able to score isn't it? Defensively they'd be mid table.

Also not sure why you think Silva wouldn't stop them leaking goals but Hughes would be able to, Stoke have conceded 56 this season, Southampton 44, Watford 50.

Watford have scored about 50% more than either though.

On those stats you'd say Silva would be a mile better option than Hughes.

Like it dislike Silva as much as you want, but anyone thinking a Hughes, Moyes, Allardyce, Pullis, Pardew type is a better appointment is imo wrong badly.

Not to mention we attually have a striker, we have a decent squad we just have a awful manager that keeps picking Williams and playing players out of position as well as the wrong subs,( Gilfi against Burnley, while DCL stayed on)

It’s possible that 3 of them could go down, 1 is definitely down
