I don’t want Allardyce but if any Silva etc came in and took us from near the bottom to finish 7th everyone would be raving and want him here next season. This is what I think Allardyce will play to in the media. I just hope our board can see through it.

He never took us over when we were near the bottom. He’s managed to move us up 2 places.

It was a panic appointment that should never have been made. Koeman and Unsworth were not the answer, Koeman was right fully chased but both of them would have had us finishing 7th this year if they’d stayed.

The fact that we’re still in touching distance despite the shocking stuff served up by Sam speaks volumes.

You haven't provided anything to back up why you think literally anyone could have kept us up though. Do you actually think our squad was that good? Because I have some news for you.
