Some of our fans massively piss me off. We were watching City show us how to play football, Keane then hoofs it up the pitch, it goes out of play, and thousands start clapping it.

State of this club.
Disagree if we’re thinking of the same one. You may be talking about a different punt upfield but there was one attempted long pass from keane out to Walcott on the right flank that just had a little too much on it and it zipped off the turf and out of play. Walcott applauded the attempt and so did the crowd.

This is a player who by his own admission has been devoid of confidence so IMO I see nothing wrong with the crowd trying to get behind him and applauding the attempt even if it didn’t quite come off.

Completely agree

I’m more embarrassed by gnarly auld miserable gets who don’t have a decent word to say about the club or it’s matchgoers

Only Everton manager we've had since HK to want to play football was hounded out of the club for "Dat tiki taka rubbish, lad".

Those people wanted players to "get stuck in, lad" and "play for der shiiiiiirt, lad".

I do hope they're happy now watching us play like an ale house team and being an utter laughing stock in the eyes of just about anyone who knows anything about football.
I don't think we are a laughing stock mate simply because nobody really cares about us we just drift along in the premier league being average.

..i’m afraid he hasn’t got the legs to do the legwork for anybody. If anything, Jagielka does more covering for Keane.

I think the full backs do more covering than the centre backs, that is why we were so awful without Coleman and Baines for a good while!

...unfortunately there’s a complete lack of athleticism in our defence. I don’t just mean pace, I mean power, height, mobility. Once you get beyond our players there’s invariably nobody capable of getting back, as per the Sterling goal where there were three or four of their players got goal side of our back four.

We are broken :(
