He keeps talking about the future and next season because he knows he'll probably lose his job. If his job was fine, he wouldn't start talking about pre season in January

Never felt more detached from Everton and an Everton manager even when Smith and Walker were here I didn't feel this kind of sinking feeling..

The longer and longer the buffoon remains our manager, the more and more soul destroying it get's.Give him another season, he needs a chance to show what he can do, is what some people are saying.Sorry folks he had his chance, to prove that the perceptions people had about were wrong! But the people who were against his appointment from the start, were proven right in the end.

Apart from the initial first month, the Allardyce era has been soul destroying. At least in the Walter Smith era we had a squad full of decent albeit limited players, but they gave it their all, and had a great love and passion for the club. But this manager and this current squad, are just happy to go through the motions every week and collect their vast wage packets.Im just sick and tired of the mediocrity.

Im sick and tired of being patronized by a manager, telling us that being in 9th place is an astounding achievement. They say that you never know whats around the corner.Sadly if Allardyce is still here next season, then we will know exactly what's around the corner.Rubbish football, the season over in January, and a manager going on about how great a job he is doing, keeping plucky little Everton in the top 10.Apparently this club is now supposed to be very "ambitious" under this Moshiri bloke.Well the word ambitious and having Sam Allardyce as manager just does not compute. But if mediocrity is what you want then Sam is the man.But there is some of us that actually want to see this club win some trophies again.

Might sound a bit dramatic but he's honestly killing my love for the club one weekend at a time. We can sit here and argue about his appointment until we are Blue in the face and there is a case that at one stage we looked in trouble. Think it's been clear in recent weeks that Allardyce just simply isn't the right man for the club, we aren't a set of fans that enjoy small time banter bus tripe that this fella spouts.

Agreed.

I am totally disinterested in the Swansea game today :(

Speaking to a West Ham fan the other day he said, you as a team are exactly what we were when sam was with us, try for a 0 - 0 try and nick it at the end.

He said having watched the derby was a typical allardyce performance, he could not understand why we did not go at Liverpool as we are not getting relegated.

As someone mentions above there is just no ambition with the man, all he knows is fighting relegation

Isn't there something in Scam's autobiography that says he knew he was leaving West Ham ahead of time so for weeks he deliberately wound their supporters up in interviews acting as if he was staying?

The man is a delusional ego-maniac so I wouldn't be surprised if he's doing the same here because he knows we hate him. We're booing his subs and chanting against him now. He's not soft.

He will get 9 points from the last 5 games and be kept on for another season.

Him and Walsh have set the plans for pre-season, they are not going in the summer unfortunately.

Pre -season is no different for any other pre-season in essence....overseas fitness camp, a few selected warm-up games against limited opposition and then the last friendly at home against a travelling Spanish or Portuguese team the last weekend before our season-Long misery starts again.

If Moshiri does not act and the C(o)unt of Monte Bisto is still amongst us come the start of the season then he will have single handedly killed-off Everton and our hopes of normality will be gone. It’s a huge gamble for Moshiri to keep him on, one that will be totally destructive and will threaten any chance the owner has of getting Evertonians onside with him...I don’t think a successful businessman will take that gamble.
Celebrity Get Me More Gravy beckons for Sam come May.

Think the point is all this needs arranging, booking in, flights booked, accomodation etc. So if all this is done already then maybe he is staying after all.

Good post....thats the thing, the apathy with the supporters is actually killing the club.....of course the fans will come back to love the club again....but why dosnt Moshiri et al do something now....now is the right time, really do not care how much it costs
