He went through similar at West Ham. Then got the boot. He's got to play the game, guarantees his pay off doesn't it? "Well I was contracted and planning for next season".

Guess he has to put on the front for the players too, at least try to keep them motivated and thinking he's their long term future.

Or he is staying. Aaaargh.
I remember him being interviewed straight after his last game with the hammers and being told live on air he'd been sacked and just laughing, at least I hope we will have more class and they at least can look him in the eyes when they bin him off.

I think the team selection from Sam is quite telling.

I think if he were here for a longer term he would be using his squad of players more to learn more about his squad and formations for next season.
Instead we see conservative teams and very little player rotation, with only four games to go and we are safely mid table.

It tells me that he is building up the points total to make sure that it reflects well on him when he leaves in a few weeks OR

the decision about staying or leaving has not been made yet or he hasn't been told and he is still trying to make a case for staying.

He's on a massive wind-up.

He knows he's gone, he knows we hate him - and he hates us. He's just making us sweat with comments like that.
I agree he's winding us up, he doesn't give a tos as long as he's banking the cash. The nightmare will surely be over soon

Not that i believe for a moment that there is much competency in the Everton hierarchy but these surveys are quite a shrewd move and will almost definitely produce the end of the Allardyce era. He has been continuing to say the same claptrap i.e its just a small minority or 15 lads in a pub who aren't happy and gives people who have paid money and travelled an arrogant uninterested and very rude shrug of the shoulders at half time for their troubles. Given that he is stats obsessed, what better way to commence the termination of his reign than producing a fair, impartial and totally accurate supporter statistic showing that the majority of supporters do not want him there any more. In other words, the hierarchy would like to let you complete your contract but have to listen to the paying supporter and they have to come first.

It is just a matter of time now but there is no doubt that he will be gone very soon. The surveys will likely show 90%+ unhappy with the management and coaching staff.

Thanks for coming Sam but no thanks.

The truth is, If Fonseca is a really good manager he won’t be coming here. There’s a reason we ended up with the last three managers.

Not at all mate, who was pochettino before saints took a chance on him? Klopp was a nobody until Dortmund took him from Mainz, Wenger etc.

He's not as good as Emery imo but he has potential. I would love Emery he's a game changing appointment imo.

I'm opting for the first part of your options
