The ideal thing is we win the last 4 games, Sam ends on a high and the board says thank you very much for your magnificent contribution but we want to appoint a manager to take us into the future, and goodbye. He goes away with a big cheque, all aglow and tells everyone what a great way to finish his career. We give the job to some one else. Everyone is happy (or happyish).

We won`t though will we, as no matter who we are playing, whether we are playing home or away, he just sets the team up to earn a " valuable " point.

Hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooof.

I’ve not attended for ages, full houses at Goodison clapping everything just reinforces the status quo. The board don’t do anything as long as we’re not getting relegated and there’s no fan discontent at matches. Huge swathes of empty seats or banners and protests would be what they want least but all we muster is clap clap clap clap.

We have had 4 managers in 3 years and you think the board do nothing?

If they acted over every bit of discontent with our fans we would have a new manager every week.

Actually that could work...special guest managers. Would keep the opponents guessing anyway.

You're dreaming if you think you'll get Goodison involved in anything. The majority are content with slating young academy players when they misplace a pass and clapping at Kenwright when he comes on the screen.

Anything like stay behind protests or marching outside the ground is Kopite behaviour in their view and who'd want to be them at the minute?

...

I wouldn't want to be one of them regardless...

Surely he is aware that his days are numbered?!

It baffles me like he talks about planning for net season, is it all a front?

See,now there was a reason to keep your season ticket
Yeah it would be just like me to turn up just so I could leave early. Ha ha.

Bit unfair to my mate though don't you think. Actually met up with my mates I go the game with for the first time for a while at Aintree races last week. None of them were particularly anti Allardyce last time I saw them before Xmas. They've changed their tune now. They havent decided what they're going to do re lap of appreciation (or rather prefer not to think about it), which is interesting as they are all in, what some on here would call the happy clapper brigade.

Well what do you want him to do?

Say that he is crap, is going at the end of the season and the players may as well just jib it off for the next four games (doubt we would notice a difference to be fair..)

The season is still active, people pay to go to these games, other clubs are involved in relegation battles etc so we keep a professional front and get on with it.

Uniting the fan base is nice in theory but who of Martinez, Koeman and Unsworth has managed that in the last 5 years?

All 3 are gash mate:

1. Martinez was appointed on the basis of winning the FA Cup whereas alot of Blues myself included were against it on the back of his constant relegation battles/eventual relegation and renowned for being unable to defend.

2. Koeman - alot wanted him based on his record at Southampton but others saw his limited achievements elswhere/history of falling out with players as a negative.

3. Alladyce the minority were content with him based on the situation we found ourselves in but most still see him as the limited firefighter he is.

Thats why for me he has to go but we need to appoint the right man - Emery/Fonesca are both proven and would laregely unite the fanbase imo.

Howe/Dyche/Alladyce would be going around in circles.

Yeh but talking about the summer spends and next season?! If you knew you were going you would just keep schtum cos you will look a right knob otherwise. What I'm saying is, he still thinks he is here next season.

He's on a massive wind-up.

He knows he's gone, he knows we hate him - and he hates us. He's just making us sweat with comments like that.

Agreed, along with comments about not hearing the fans singing "f*** off" at the end of the last few games.
