Maybe Moshiri is seeing a bigger picture? That a new CEO and Director of Football will be appointed in the summer and they will obviously come with their own ideas keeping FS for a year gives them time to put plans in place restructuring the club behind the seems while also hopefully starting work on a new stadium.
FS is given the remit to get 7th and have a go at the cups while the long term blue print for the club is put together.
Not popular but rather that risk appointing a new manager and then the new DOF wants his own man in 12 months time?
Let’s hope there is a long term strategy

You’d hope a new dof would have input as to who we should hire

That is the funniest post on here tonight. I want the title. Who do you think might deliver the title to Everton Football Club next season. All this trauma must have affected your noddle, or you are just back from the alehouse.
You might think it funny but everything @paddock1982 said is true. Big Scam ain't gonna deliver nothing but misery if he is here next season.

Don't rate Silva myself can't coach a defence. 24 games in charge of Watford lost 13, drew 5, won 6 in the prem. With only 4 clean sheets, I think he'd be a disaster if I'm honest.

Not a total disaster though, because he is very handsome and rather cuddly and would escape personal abuse about his habits and appearance. It would be better though as the criticism of him would mainly be based on the football he produces or not as it turns out. Who knows? He could be the man we need.

Sam Allardyce is playing Us all for fools, even Mosheri.
He gets the media mates on his side ( Jim White) thinkng he is doing a great job, great home form another clean sheet etc. He goes on that we should have beaten Liverpool, they had half a team out who also couldn’t be arsed.

I think our fans need to stop splitting hairs and give him hell at the next game.
He is simply not wanted.
So let’s stop pi&&#ng about

Short of a 5-0 home defeat, the last home game will definitely not be the scene of a demo to give the manager hell. The only demos might be by keyboard/pub warriors shouting abuse at their screens. Hopefully we will have positive news before then concerning our future manager for next season. Surely it won't be left until after the last game at West Ham. It has gone on too long already.

Despite all the Arsenal fan TV stuff, it was apathy that got Wenger the boot, not protesting.

I think we're very very close to the apathy stage too. Apathy is far worse than anger.
