Heard nothing since that was when I first posted- that it's - if the board want a manager that the fans hate ....
The vitriol has got even heavier for him to go , and Sam sounds desperate he looked desperate in his after match interview with the robot mascot have you seen that interview?
He did not look like he was full of confidence did he!
Lefteheris from Meze Meze confirms your story Joey.He was serving the food at that dinner party your family were at.

Actually I think that would suit him down to the ground! If things go belly up next season he’d already have his perfect excuse “Well I didn’t buy the players over the summer I didn’t have a say”.
We don't know what is in the mind of Sam Allyrdyce, Brands/Walsh or Moshiri.

People like to assume it will be a very simple scenario where he is sacked, compensated and replaced and maybe it will be but first you would need to see the contract signed by Sam last November.

I would guess that Sam is already a very wealthy man. As with a lot of people coming to the end of a long career it becomes more about legacy than reward. I think Sam would like a successful stint at Everton on his cv when he retires, it would justify his boast that he was capable of managing bigger and better clubs than the ones he had throughout his career. Everton is that final opportunity that unexpectedly popped up for him.
Sam is not widely accepted by fans but what does Moshiri think of him ?
He was given a job , he did what was asked.
My own belief is that Moshiri will only replace him if it is with a high profile manager, it will not now be with a Fonseca or a Silva.

I still think there may be a twist in the tail and a scenario pops up that nobody thought of or expected.
he was moshiri’s last resort panic appointment. He wasn’t head hunted.
And he’s well and truly blown that chance to prove he deserves to manage at a higher level, with the absolute dross he has served up. And he will never change.

If moshiri can get Fonseca I think he would definitely replace sam with him. I also think silva could still be in the running, probably no longer at the top of the list but still an option.

Always illuminating when you go back and have a look at history.

Sam Allardyce on the 12th January 2018 - Everton manager Sam Allardyce admits he must win and entertain to keep his job

“My length of stay at Everton is purely based on two things – results and entertainment – and we’ve got to put both things together, we’ve got to be entertaining and we’ve got to win football matches.

Since he said the above, we have played 13 matches and won just 5 of them and have also had a couple of proper drubbings in amongst them, beaten 4 - 0 by Spurs the day after he said the statement above and a few matches later 5 - 1 by Arsenal. I dont know about anyone else but i struggle to remember being entertained in any Match since Allardyce took over. In other words, he has completely failed on both accounts from what he said 3 months ago.

Sam Allardyce 1st December 2017 just a couple of days after being appointed speaking to Sky Sports about various things including the 4 - 0 win against West Ham - http://www.skysports.com/football/n...llardyce-ambitious-for-long-term-everton-stay

"I spoke to the players briefly, and I'm taking nothing away from David, about two things," said Allardyce. "One, keeping a clean sheet and two, scoring the first goal.

Not only did he take it away from him but he also threw the boot in too and mocked him.

Dishonest, ignoble and a Charlatan.

Tick tock, 3 games left with the snake in the grass....hopefully.

Moshiri was willing to pay £10m+ for Silva, he’ll see getting rid of Sam for £6m and getting Silva in on a free as good business and a saving of £4m.

Silva under Brands would do me just fine. Watford we’re playing some unreal stuff before his head was turned.

I wonder what the survey results are? I suspect there aren't as many 0's or even 1-4's as what is portrayed on here. If he's mainly in the 5-8 bracket he'll stay. Judging by the game on Monday the forums clearly aren't as representative as what we all think!! The question comes down to whether we need a stable 12 months while we sort out all the back room stuff, or whether we go for a complete overhaul all at the same time. There's arguments for both

Great post mate; when you remove the spin the bare facts are that he ain’t great - god knows what damage he has done to many of the squad players not given a chance. You could add the quotes about Rooney & Siggy not being able to play together, then do....Vlasic, plays well....dropped, Lookman a real threat in the Cup, bizarrely criticised for testing himself at the highest level of the available options. Too many contradictions of what he says and does to find him believable or genuine - if he’s like that with the press knowing he’ll get quoted what on Earth is he like with players at Finch Farm.

What I can’t accept is the media protection and ignorance of the real position - he manipulates everything to maintain this Big Sam the miracle worker persona when the reality is he is found out at every level. He is wn win - gets £6m if he stays or goes. Time to shake hands, pay up (again) and move on.

I want the title next season and I don't think big Sam can deliver it. The one thing we can hold onto against the RS is neither of us have won the premier league trophy yet.

That is the funniest post on here tonight. I want the title. Who do you think might deliver the title to Everton Football Club next season. All this trauma must have affected your noddle, or you are just back from the alehouse.

Don't rate Silva myself can't coach a defence. 24 games in charge of Watford lost 13, drew 5, won 6 in the prem. With only 4 clean sheets, I think he'd be a disaster if I'm honest.
