If Fat head stays for next season and we have a run of games against top six sides like we did at the start of this season, we could be in trouble again because he throws those games, he doesn't even try!!Get rid now before he can do more damage!!! Keeping him would be foolhardy I don't see what he brings bar guaranteed premier league football? What would we be building towards? He's already said we can't compete with the top six and he doesn't try to win away so what's the point we will end up top ten again at the best and continue our decline. Plus his football is hideous to watch, he can't coach a team beyond being hard to beat, he doesn't believe in youth, he will buy more 'premier league proven' players, he only believes in self preservation not the good of the team/club! Get rid at the end of the season!!

We didn’t need saving though. Huge knee jerk reaction. Against teams from the current bottom 12, Koeman had 7points from a possible 9. Yes we lost against Chelsea, spurs, Burnley, United and Arsenal, only managing a point at city. But against those same teams, Allardyce has only got 1 point as well.

Europe was a disaster but the seasons been going on since July.

I wasn’t a fan of Koeman at the end, but his football was arguably better and we were still getting points from those who are below us now. Allardyce hasn’t saved us and didn’t need to.
People saying we'd still be fighting a relegation battle like they know for certain make me laugh. Its all conjecture of course.

Personally I think Silva would have had us plauing decent stuff and at least 7th in the league, possibly 6th the way Arsenals season panned out. Still conjecture of course.

Good post but what of the theory that he will remain in post purely to sustain our presence in the Premier League whilst efforts are ongoing with building a new stadium.
In other words make do and mend with what you've got while money otherwise destined for quality players goes towards the construction budget.
Me? I want him gone soon as.

I understand consistentcy and stability with the right man I believe in it. Look what Moyes built despite his limitations. But I think there are other coaches that can keep us in the league easily and build towards something and play with a better style. Fat head is sucking the enjoyment out of following Everton. I think that's why there were few protests Monday it's sheer deflated apathy, which is worrying for a club built on its fans.

From nufc.com

Turning to Everton, there's a risk of double standards here for slagging them off for being so negative at home after a season when we've deployed equally restrictive tactics at times.

Unlike the first meeting of these sides in December though, Everton are well out of danger and can afford to be more expansive as they pursue a Europa League place. It's a fair bet that we'll be rather more offensive against West Bromwich Albion on Saturday, having reached our declared objective.

Aside from the fact that we're not on a level with the likes of Manchester City and as a promoted side, we surely didn't represent a threat to his expensively-assembled side to justify these tactics. It was of course nothing to do with respect though, just his default miserabilist stance.

Allardyce's justification appears to be that his £45m Icelandic playmaker is crocked, but that just doesn't wash - certainly given the withdrawn position Wayne Rooney was condemned to occupy, aside from trotting forward to take corners.

One thing is clear; home followers are bored stiff, rendered even more apathetic than usual by this joyless feast and in no hurry to sign up for more of it - a feeling that may well be shared within the dressing room if the Newcastle squad in 2007 is any guide. The end doesn't justify the means.

Defeat left Newcastle tenth - still not quite mathematically safe, with but genuine hope of achieving a first top half finish since 2014. Tonight didn't change anything....and I still hate Allardyce's guts

" and I still hate Allardyce`s guts " lollollol

At his press conference tomorrow, surely he will be asked if talks have been held regarding next season and his place in it. He seemed to believe last week that "there would be clarity soon", so "soon" as arrived. Some of the posters who use the term apathy regarding the spirit of our fans have got it spot on. No demos, but everyone pssd off at what we are paying to watch.

Even if he`s been told that he`s getting the boot, he still won`t say admit it.

He knew he was getting the boot at West Ham a good three weeks before he went and he still continued to wind the fans up.

God I hate him.

I’m not saying he was the right man for the job, don’t get me wrong, but we weren’t in the dire straights that a lot of people on here and Big Sam have tried to say we were.

You are right about the Brighton game, I was about as cool and calm in that game as I have been in pretty much every match since the West Ham game.
Even though it was a month before?

Sorry mate but you come across like your happy that we could have this fool as manager longer. Nobody in the right mind would want him. You have an answer for everyone’s ( points which are valid ) against FS.
You think he'll be gone, maybe he will, people thought he'd be sacked by now...he hasn't been.Moshiri is the only one who knows (maybe he might bother telling Kenwright). But there is a chance you will be frothing at the mouth for a bit yet.Might be an idea to try for a presciption for some Valium,it might be a bumpy ride.
