Had a genuine chance of European football and he was still talking about relegation. Still goes on about how well he's done and how much of a mess we were before HE took over, including the West Ham game in his success story where Rhino was in charge.

His results on the pitch show improvement no doubt but he's not an Everton manager for me.

Looking at Sams record mate, he puts out the fire, then proceeds to install faulty wiring throughout the house, sticks a dodgy cooker in and after he leaves the house it burns down to the ground when the next bloke moves in.
the only 2 players he has bought have done the business so not sure what you are talking about in starting fires and leaving them for the next owner to deal with?

Cannot genuinely see where he has worsened the squad or setup since he's arrived, assuming that's what your cumbersome analogy is trying to emphasise.

Regardless of job done his position is untenable given the relationship between him and the fans he certainly hasn’t helped his cause with comments to the media so I have no sympathy there.

Results have been ok given the circumstances. But realistically we struggle to create CCC’s, players work rate is poor, motivation and confidence is in the gutter and the footy is utter turgid. 1ish shots on target is not good enough and we have been quite lucky with a few games as far as goals go. People berate Moyes for being similar and yes we had some god awful performances but we definitely played better under Moyes then with lard ass.

In all honesty I’m quite disappointed with BSA he had a chance to really put his marker down. Don’t expect him to change his ethos but be more expressive and have some ambition instead he treated us like a treadmill. Going off at fans, refusal to take ownership, stubbornness to not try new things, refusal to play younger players and just wasting our time. He has no right to complain he done this to him self bigger clubs have bigger expectations that’s a part of football.
Was he roundly booed by the fans at Huddersfield today or at Goodison last week ?

I do believe that a very visible dissatisfaction from the fans may sway Moshiri, but I have not ssen that unless you take GOT as representing the Everton fanbase and I certainly would not do that.

Sadly as far as Moshiri is concerned Big Sam has secured us a top half finish. As Dave alluded to yesterday, the style of football and performances (or lack of) against the better sides in the league, are totally irrelevant as far as the mosh is concerned. All he cares about is his financial investment.

The more i think about it, it is doubtful that the Mosh will sack Allardyce in the summer, when he will then be left with a years worth of compensation to pay out.Sam Allardyce will be going going and gone from Goodison eventually. But sadly i think we will have to put up with him as manager for at least another couple of months.Possibly in a worst case scenario situation (unless the fans kick up enough of a fuss in the remaining games this season) until around Christmas time.Sweet jeesus!

It's a tough call this. Yes the football as a spectacle is poor bordering on tedious.. but on the other hand we were a total shambles thanks to Koeman/Walsh (and perhaps a few disruptive players). I'm sorry to go over this again but the last two months of Koeman were terrible, I had no expectations then of any upturn and it didn't really arrive until the two home wins (luckily against Watford and then against West Ham) and badly wanted it all go away.

Whilst I by no means endorse Allardyce (and he has made some shocking observations in the face of the abuse/criticism) we shouldn't be so damn proud about most of the past 4 seasons nor should we be pleased with our utterances. It's true there were some good moments but 11th twice under Martinez and this season tell their own story. We didn't have a solid defence (Coleman, then Baines in particular), and we didn't buy a striker. Frankly all this (and the latest contract with The Netherlands to screw us over) lands at the feet of Koeman - for his alienation of half the squad, Niasse especially) and his tampering. Why we just didn't go out and get a striker ANY half-decent fit STRIKER for heavens sake takes some believing.

He'll be looking at the Koeman experience in particular, where it only took a couple of months worth of bad results before he was forced to act. Can he afford to go through that again with say, Silva?

The only thing that would turn the entrenched polarized fans is a CL spot or silverware in my opinion.

It’s quite amazing, many have judged him before he came, to be fair it’s backed up by awful performences, but it’s been hugely effective and he has done well. Does two things will split the fan base.

The real question is if he stays is there headroom to improve performances and recruit better and balance the squad to be better. That is intriguing, he is getting a tune out of a poorly constructed team. He is not stupid he knows fans want a performence, I think he might just try to give it. I think he tried it today by making the couple of changes he did in Vlasic etc.
I don't know , I've personally never liked the way he sets up his teams it makes them very hard to watch.
For me his tactics have become outmoded and pedestrian in recent years. Football is continually evolving and he and the Pulis have been left behind. His trademarked isolated striker thing does my swede in.
I would be very disappointed and dispirited if I'm sat watching this football at Goodison next season.
I think we run the danger of wandering into a footballing cul-de -sac with Allardyce.

Been atleast 3 away games from memory were he has been targeted for dogs abuse and chants from the away fans. Plus he has trended BFS out or similar on twitter in the UK a couple of times that takes huge numbers of people. Plus the fan survey which I have no doubt that mosh has the results for he would be well aware of the discontent. Plus comments BFS has made in the media I can’t inagine mosh would be impressed about his manager attacking the fans

If Koeman was still here and the board had decided he was going at the end of the season would Alladyce be the top of anybodys list to replace him, would he be in with a shout of being DOF,would any of the clubs except for maybe the bottom 3/4 look at bringing him in?
The answer to everyone of those is no,nobody can argue he has done what he was brought in to do,thats where it should end give him his pay off and get sorting things out
