Wouldn't be surprised if he stayed, can see the chairman seeing him as a safe bet, to steady things down.
He has done what he was brought in to do , keep us up, I think we were in real danger of going down unlike most who seem to think these days that somehow it would have just come good no matter who we had as manager, we were a shambles.
The two players he brought in have done ok.
Players and coaches from what we can gather from the press seem to like him.
It's not a squad he has put together himself and he has had a chance to put his mark on it.
All that might look good from outside, if you didn't watch the games, were the norm is a few shots on goal per game, slow football and zero entertainment for the fans.
It's a brand of football that the fans just can't get excited about or get behind, added to the fact the manager just isn't jelling with the fans with his attitude of f I am doing a good job , you lot don't have a fnk clue and should be thankful for me doing it.
There seems a perception that the fans of Everton football club should just show up and be happy to be in the perm and not mind the boring none entertainment put in front of them each week from the press and football world, says a lot how far we have sunk , to the outside world.
I want him gone along with the old boys club behind the scenes , fed up getting patted on the head and being plucky Little Everton, let's get back to being a club with more ambition than just make up the numbers every year.

While I agree with most of your points I just can't see the connect with an owner who has the ambition and determination to build a new £450 million stadium on the docks and the apathy to be content with mid table mediocrity.

I am convinced he will be gone at seasons end.

Unbelievable this, got new posters joining and backing Allardyce and old posters backing him because he beat 2 promoted team. He beat teams we are expected to beat nothing more.

When he came up against the big boys he was found wanting. Yes we didn’t lose to the RS but look at the disrespect Klopp gave us, at their place he didn’t play Courtinho and at our place he played a 2nd string team which we failed to beat.
Utd,Arsenal,Spurs and City swatted us a side like nothing and Chelsea hammered us but couldn’t score.
We lost to Bournemouth and Watford, both terrible performances, drew with West Brom Home and away

Yet he done an amazing job apparently

Our Managers this season.

Koeman lost it. The pressure got to him and he had to go. If he hadn’t let it get to him he probably would have turned it around. Had a disastrous start in his second season at Southampton from memory. Please correct if wrong.

Unsworth is the one I feel most for. Had 3 comps to deal with. 5 league games 2 wins and a draw wasn’t bad. But you could see he was under severe pressure purely from his love of the club. The Southampton game was a disaster. The board threw him under a bus too. Sam arrives and one of the most honorable Evertonians Joe Royle leaves. This little detail says to me what joe thought about the appointment.

I don’t see Sam here next season. No one from the club is coming out in support of him. As Shearer said he has us over a barrel and we caved. Club should come to agreement with him and announce that he is leaving this week. But I suspect they don’t have anymore lined up to take over. I can see this dragging on well into the summer.

Well, he did say that one of the problems of having a large squad was that it hinders the development and opportunities of the younger players coming through; so that did sound like he was willing to give the younger lads their chance at some time. I would imagine the likes of Jags, Williams, Rooney, and maybe even Baines would be first on the list to go.
No chance. If Allardyce is still here only Williams out if that lot will go. And thats only because he probably pissed him off. Remember he was fiirst choice for all his earlier games.

On the other hand, Lookman is already gone. Pretty certain Holgate Vlasic will too with probably Kenny Beni and Dowell out on loan.

Yeah, but we're 8th. No other manager would be facing this if they finished there after the start to the season we had. Even his detractors admit he has done the job he was supposed to do and then call him a fat slug in the same breath. Bit weird imo

Martinez had the abuse the whole time he was with us mate, when he first came in, that great first season he got abuse, there were loads who wouldn’t give him any credit, saying it was all down to Moyes’ defence etc.

I've no problem with the results he's produced and at the end of the day we all care about results over performances but we have a large array of quality in our squad which means we don't have to grind out every single game. The biggest annoyance I find under allardyce is that I actually count how many shots on target we have every single game. I can remember what shots they were after the game is done.

I get quite infuriated when this current manager is given any credit for anything. He is quick to blame others when results are poor and quick to claim credit for good results.

He said we were fantastic yesterday....yes, fantastic. We won against a very poor team, less possession, less passion, less style .... Is our aspiration to crawl past Huddersfield, be proud of a 1-1 draw with Swansea, blah blah blah ad infinitum.

He has "saved us from relegation" okay, if you really think We were ever in danger. He has killed our togetherness as a club, stifled our players killed our joy, such that people actually believe he should stay.

He has a very dubious history of behaviour that should have precluded him from ever being considered by the board. His "style" is well known, his arrogance astounding. As a manager he has led us to points against teams we should have been beating and surrendered completely in games that were always difficult.

Time has come, move him on with dignity, but move him on.

I don't want him here any more than you, but the vitriol and opposition he is facing are disproportionate to the job he's done. After the start we got under Koeman, we are now 8th in the table, one below where we finished last season. With the apparent limitations of our current squad, I think we would have easily taken that under any other manager. I just find the abuse levelled at him a bit rude or something tbh
The vitriol side is more to do with the way he comes across in public. Thats what angers the fans so much. His football just makes us sad or even apathetic.

Make no mistake, if we give him next season he’ll be sacked by Christmas and we’ll all write it off and wait for 2019/20.

It makes no sense to keep him on. If you’re standing still in this environment you’re going backwards; keeping Sam is standing still at best and I have to believe Moshiri knows this. You either keep him and give him a new deal, or you bin him off. It has to be the latter if Moshiri still holds any ambition whatsoever.

Agreed with all this, I for one won't set foot in Goodison while Gravyarse is at the helm. We need to finally show a bit of ambition and if he is still in charge we may as well write off another season.
