I really don't understand how Allardyce can be left in charge and recruit players this summer for his way of playing when he only has 12 months to run on his contract.

Moshiri should either extend his contract - please God no - or sack him.

To do neither runs completely contrary to any cohesive recruitment policy.

This is the point I have been making.

If he is still here in August then commonsense dictates he must have been given at least another year on his deal.

You cannot have a manager running down his contract over the course of a season.

MOTD last might underlined that attitude in spades: the lead into the highlights of our match had the commentator say "Huddersfield's last reasonable chance of three points before they face PL royalty in their last three games", then back in the studio Shearer went to town suggesting Everton supporters had a nerve to be underwhelmed by what Allardyce was serving up.

Wasn't Moshiri supposed to catapult us away from this level and put us amongst the elite?

Shearer was highly critical of allardyce after the England fiasco. The reality is allardyce should no longer be managing - simple as that.

How long have our fans had their voices or concerns shusshed by the media? We couldn't say boo about kenwright without his London chums backing him up.... as soon as Phillip Green comes under the microscope in cones moshiri. We never were for sale and the media knew it.

They tried to move us into a barn in Kirby, they try to sell our best prospects....

Moshiri needs to understand that our club needs to change it' perception.... "the people's club" has been turned into some sort of branding that implies we are Eddie Edwards just happy to be at the Olympics.

He did the job he was hired to do. Now he can jog on

I don't want him here any more than you, but the vitriol and opposition he is facing are disproportionate to the job he's done. After the start we got under Koeman, we are now 8th in the table, one below where we finished last season. With the apparent limitations of our current squad, I think we would have easily taken that under any other manager. I just find the abuse levelled at him a bit rude or something tbh

That is why the team in third are likely to be in the Champions League final?it ain’t that bad.

I said the league is a hybrid of 5 good teams and 15 garbage ones. The reason United are second is because the bottom 15 are used primarily for the 5 teams to see what they can get from them.

I'm with you on this.

Not saying that he's been fantastic or anything, but he's done exactly what has been asked of him.

All this writing on sodden bedsheets and calling him a "fat slug" isn't exactly great behaviour in my opinion.

The vitriol and opposition he is facing is all down to him and his arrogance in thinking he could treat us like we are Bolton wanderers.

He compared us to Newcastle and West ham.... he came in and started taking pot shots at Silva... what had Silva done to him? He has thrown people under the bus.... smirked when told of fan disgruntlement.

Too late for him.... he has baited the fans. The fans are letting him know he won' be excused.

Blimey... a couple of wins doesn't half change some fans overnight. We seen this with lukaku.... he could play half bothered, give an interview saying that he wanted to leave Everton. Score in the next game against a garbage team and his name gets chanted.

I’m not an Allardyce fan but just think we need to be very careful what we wish for.

The fact is we will likely finish 8th if not even 7th and that’s pretty damn impressive with the absolute dire season and run we had under Koeman and Unsy.

His signings have both been shrewd and he is still left with a ton of deadwood form the previous clowns in charge.

I see no reason why we should ax him unless we can get a top, proven name in. Silva and Fonseca are both massive gambles. The stick he’s getting is just a bit OTT in my opinion. If he wasn’t who he is then eh would be getting anywhere near the stick he is.

You lost me right there,

I wish for better things and happier days at EFC.

And I will not be “careful” about wishing for them

What a a vacuous comment.

Agree 100%.

Didn't I mention that I want another manager? This isn't about demanding change, it's about our conduct in demanding it. I've grimaced at some of the posts and chants. It's no wonder he's compared us to Newcastle, some of our fans are acting like Geordies

I feel really bummed this morning, even after a win. My stoke meter is so low, I’m thinking he’s here next year after the comments this last week.

I just want to be amped watching F.C. Sexy playing magical stuff whilst chugging with my bros.

Allardyce did inherit a shambles.Of that there is no doubt. But apart from his his initial first month, it has been pretty dismal.Crap football, and our performances against the elite sides have been embarrassing. If we are going to be merely content with just making up the numbers, and abandoning all hope for the future, then Sam is the man.But i don't think this has anything to do with perception. If this football club is serious about rejoining the elite again, them Sam Allardyce is most definitely not the right manager for us.He was hired by an owner in a blind panic, and i think most of us are just counting down the days until his reign is over.

This season was key we remained safe if we where to agree funding for the new ground.

Moshiri had to go with sam after silva could not come in.

If you would have asked me or many fans when he took over would you happy being safe with 4 games left they would have taken it. We where leaking goals left right and centre.

He should get given credit for that along with the 2 January signings he made.

I don’t like some of his comments and his ego but on the other hand we did not like Martinez being over positive.

As a club. If we are going to compete you need to take points from the top 6 because the rest of the teams in this league are poor.

A good manager and that team yesterday would have scored 5 past Huddersfield.

Under sam we will surrender to any decent team so we need a manager who is not afraid to have a go.

There are few Mourinhos out there who can adapt to different teams but would be good if we could find one.
