I don't see it turning out well if we keep him. The vast majority of the fanbase want him gone, even those of us who have defended him at times.
If he was to stay on, I would be in the minority that will give him a second chance at the start of the season, however, unlike this season where I accepted he came in to a complete mess, and I was happy with a top half finish given where we were, that relaxed expectation will be gone.
I want the club to push on and try and break in to the top 6 again, with an aim of going further over the next few years. If we have a poor start, roll over for the 'Big 6' or play for 0-0's against bottom half sides away then it won't take long for fans like myself to join the vast majority in calling for his head.
And where will that get us? Him sacked after 9/10 games in to the league season just like Koeman, and a completely toxic atmosphere around the club.
Just can't see him having us playing attractive football and in amongst the top 6 after 10 games (or even within touching distance of them at the least), and the fans will demand it.
Big decision for Moshiri. He needs to get this one right. Allardyce needs to go and it's key that he brings in the right manager to take us forward to justify getting rid of the unattractive but more stable Allardyce.
