Im not sure i buy, the we have always been rubbish rubbish against the top teams argument, being spouted by the Big Sam supporters. In past seasons we always put one over a big side.Last season we smashed Man City 4-0.The season before that we dumped Chelsea out of the FA Cup.So for Everton to go a whole season without beating a top side, is unprecedented in my view.

What, or rather who, do you call a better manager. I suspect thats where our opinions differ.

I just want someone who sets us up to try and win every game and play positive football.

Who that person is, I don't know, I'm not an expert on managers in Europe but there must be someone out there.

Who would you go for?

My older brother got a phone call tonight his son had two free tickets off mates - older brother no thanks not while he is Manager it's bad enough watching them on TV!
Here's what I do when Everton are on the tele....

Same as you mate in essence. I want a DOF to come in with a brand of football as you suggest and a manager who can implement it..

I just dont think Allardyce will ever be that man.

Seriously what is this?

You cant point out that we have been crap against top teams for a quarter of a century without being an Allardyce supporter?

Like the two cant be separated or something.

We have been utter garbage against the "big clubs" for years AND under Allardyce. It doesn't have to be one or the other you know?

You mention it being unprecedented for us not to not have beaten a top side. I am pretty sure that's not the case at all but even if it was it has been under 3 different managers.

There must be a budding young Pep, Mourinho or Conte out there waiting for a chance to be the next big thing - someone with an idea of how he wants to play. Not just some guy who's making do with a few random signings and damage limitation.

Show yourself, lad!
