Vitor hasn't managed in the PL. @roydo tells me he's currently managing in China so I think it unlikely he'll see us as an attractive alternative.
Eddie Howe? I haven't expended any thought on. Done a good job at B'mouth I guess. Would he want to leave them for us? I doubt it.
Sad innit....we cant attract anyone without insane bonuses or contract annulment packages.
We are becoming QPR 4 years ago.
Loads of money and attracting nothing but mercenarys.
This club deserves a manager and team that actually care for the club 1st and foremost....the rest comes with sucess. If we manage it.
Spurs are riding high with a couple of great purchases, a fluke and a lad born through the academy...yet they have won nowt and I guarantee the lad thats come through the ranks will end up a manc....or a spaniard die to lack of progress.....pffft.
Everton are perenials due to the roots of hardwork, never say die attitude and bits of magic..we cant change that with a few million....frankly why should we. Its what we were known for. I want Eddie Howe !! A new hardworking manager for the younger generation to truly get behind...not through press conferences or media attention but through Hard graft.
Beer oclock !!!!

The only difference between next season and any other season, is now we're admitting we're setting the bar low.

We're admitting to fans that just existing is perfectly acceptable. I think we can forget about any outside possibility of winning a cup, or even competing with an attitude like that.

Sad sad times.

Exactly. Allardyces comments, Moshiri’s acceptance of that and Kenwrights embarrassing vote of thanks at that farce of a ceremony the other night has set the bar squarely and firmly at MEDIOCRITY.

They're just admitting we're going to fail now, instead of making it perfectly obvious on the pitch and behind the scenes, with their performances and lack of effort.

I honestly don't know what the answer is mate, but this is as low as I've ever felt about us.

It's easy to be despondent but I harbour one shard of hope that we can crack the top 7 next season. We are just so lucky to have, in Capt Jags, a leader who can really rally his troops, who inspires people, a captain who, when he enters a room, everyone immediately notices his presence.
Capt Jags is our big hope. And how dignified is he? When he puts on his blue Santa outfit at Blue Chrimbo events, everyone stops, mouth agape ...what a leader we have in Capt Jags!!

Capt Jags sums up our club

Thanks mate. That's really cheered me up.

He'd probably get a gig with The Avengers if we wasn't so busy saving our sorry arses.

With his little helper Grass the Elf and his edgy haircut, homesickness and sh1te guitar.

I am currently feeling a lot of d words towards Everton, disillusioned, disenchanted, despairing, disenfranchised. I have felt all these things before over the years but one I have never felt before is a growing feeling of distance that I find disturbing.

You may well be right about the CL league places Khal. I can't remember. But as a fan I want us to win every game. Period. I never want us to lose.

Neither do I, as a rule.

But I would have been livid happen we had beaten City that day to hand them the League Title
