Yeah but just appointing an attack mided manager with this current lot will see us bummed, Surly you can see that...sam is working with the majority of that dross that fell apart when attempting exciting football. His two signings are an attempt to rectify that situation...actually this is mad. Im not for sam staying but I don't think its just the manager who needs replacing...half our team are delicate indiviuals who need a kick up the backside first.

I agree at the time we were a shambles he steadied the ship and I am thankful for that. Yet again, I agree most of our players are cowards or not good enough. But I am now talking about the future, and we need someone else in my view. It's not just his football as his results are 'ok', it's his negative mindset that sucks, joy, excitement and hope out of following the club, for me.

I just use round figures Khal. Counting never my strong point haha.

My point is we don't do relegations. The guys point was that we should be celebrating staying up which I thought was ridiculous considering how long ago the last one was. We ain't no yo yo club.
We certainly are not a "yo-yo" club but for the last 30 years we have with '95 being an exception a mediocrity club with the chairman and now major shareholder and NOT the fans being content with this state of affairs. To me as an auld git who has been supporting EFC since 1961 this is totally unnaceptable, and it is rather disingenuous of you to have a go at older supporters who you perceive are happy just to stay up. I feel for younger fans who have not had a sniff of success and therefore it is at our appalling board to whom our anger should rightly be directed. Walker, Smith, Moyes, Martinez, Koeman, and now Allardyce. Thanks Bill and Mosh...for sod all

John Carey got sacked for coming 5th - The Catt virtually won the league with his side - my Late f and Brother stated the football under Carey with Bobby Collins , and Vernon was a team in the making , but had a soft under belly which the ruthless chairman shouted TAXI!

The main reason esk gets stick is he posts things as fact, when It obviously isn’t.

He seems a sound lad, but best to try not to be ITK when you aren’t
Look I had an ITK from a family member who was in the know with a relation of Sam's family wise that he was going - The Mosh was not happy with him football wise - that's now gone quiet you just post what you hear and hope it has truth to it!
I am sure the esk has another source fingers crossed we all want rid of Sam mainly on the GOT poll so here's hoping!

Pretend Sam is staying next year, and imagine we have just hit 40 points and he is giving his post match interview. Does he

a) Make no comment about it, or at most a quick joke, instead focusing on the fight for top 4/6

b) Smugly tells us how brilliant he is at saving Everton from relegation and that when he took over we were about to be relegated to the Conference and that it's not his fault the players can't pass and that 27% possession was his target against Brighton and that the fans are delighted with one shot on target except 3 deranged people on Minitel and that didn't Crouchy have a great game and that hasn't Sam exceeded all expectations and that having an average team age of 33 is a big improvement and that if his name was Allardichio he would be winning the league with a big team and that isn't it great how he's only spent £100 million but is still getting Everton to compete against the big teams like Huddersfield and that his best mate Bill has told him Everton is a family that he never ever has to leave and....

oh god I need a lie down

Very true Joey...John Carey was 'too nice' but he left a great legacy...the beginnings, then, of what was to become 'the modern Everton' (not modern now, of course!)

Lookman leaving on loan shows you why Sam doesn't trust in youth. Worse he dropped him after two good performances. Then he has the cheek to blame the lad for wanting to go to RB! Christ Sam you utter dinosaur.
