That is the exact opposite of what happened my friend. Sams negative ‘let’s keep what we have’ attitude saw to that.

The fact he went to a flat back 4 AFTER we went behind, and we were chasing a point (god forbid we may have went did a win before the scored), destroys every argument you may have.

Also _ I proper fkin hate everton right now.

Stella’s are done for tonight. Adios.

But Coleman was nowhere to be seen for their goal which tells me they were pushed up...

I get the feeling when I see the list of players in our sqaud.
A lot of them either never have been premier league qaulity or they are no longer premier league qaulity

We are 8th in the league and came 7th last season. They are premiership quality (generally) they are just to samey and not got it in them to push anywhere beyond that.

Don't buy this argument. The squad is more than good enough that if anyone had been adventurous enough to try we could've gotten 7th this year and Europe which I know some people didn't want but to me it's part of building a culture of competing in Europe every year.

You’re normally sensible lid, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

Coleman pushes up in a ,2,3,4 or 5 mate, sometimes a team gets caught out. Happens to every team.
But to got from a 4, to a 5, and back 4 again when chasing a game shows your comment holds no water at all unfortunately.

Like I say tho, you are normally sensible.

If Koeman or unsworth stayed in charge we would likely be lower than we are now.
I'm not saying Alladyce is the man to take us forward but let's not pretend our playing squad is better than it is.
The current sqaud are about as high in the table as they can be based on Thier ability.

I'd agree we could be 7th, were probably better than burnley but the terrible start to the season and loosing to burnley twice cost us 7th

Burnley have that old Everton spirit.

Not a fan of Sam but anyone else that we could realistically get in will have the same brief, expectations and outcome. Aim for 7th and Europa League.

Just depends whether the ends justify the means.

We could easily have been 6th with a semi competent manager, arsenal have been complete dung

With alladyce in charge all season we might have.

He's not a great manager by any stretch, but he has improved us and is capable of guiding us top 6 in a full season.

We would still see terrible football and boring games though
