The reception he got before the West Ham game shows that the majority of the fans were willing to give him a chance, and, in less than a fortnight he's won over, to a greater or lesser extent, a lot of doubters in the fan base.

If he gets us in the top eight this season, then there'll be very few calling for his head this Summer and he'll then have the chance to show us, and the rest of the football world, if he's more than just a pragmatic firefighter.

As I've said before

Mind you, it's early days.

Can you give me something in Emajor on that horn of yours, thanks.

I don't agree with Aldridge. As if he was gonna write an unbiased opinion of the Everton manager lol lol lol lol lol

Makes me laugh that under the header "Football Liverpool", he then dedicates his space to Everton.

Aldridge: "I'm not a fan of the man with the big ego".

Ahem....

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

If any of this were true Allardyce would have come out saying loads of stuff about how poor we were, how close to relegation we were, how success would be staying up, how poor the players are etc.

Instead all he’s done is said that the job is different as he’s normally brought in for a rescue act, stability first then back up to Europe for an aim this season, the players are good they just need confidence etc. It’s obvious that him and Moshiri have clearly discussed what the brief is here.

He genuinely seems like a guy who didn’t need the work but has jumped at the opportunity of managing the biggest club of his career with a challenge that isn’t just relegation rescue. If Aldo was right Allardyce would be in any of Swansea West Brom Stoke or Palace again right now. Im sure he’s had multiple offers.

Just had a peep on their forum, good read, it appears they are turning on poor Marco and it’s Everton’s fault.

They were fine before we started sniffing apparently, and now there is relegation watch threads.
That can't be true .....We were not in their class last time I looked ......two weeks ago !..Going over to refresh !;)
