In fairness the sh!te should have beaten us handy and apart from them we’ve played the 2 worst teams in the league. Fortune favours the lucky

We lost 1-4 to an awful Southampton and shipped 5 against an Arsenal side that have scored less than that away against everyone else combined this season.

Easy to forget how bad we were.

What I find mad is that we are now only 1 point worse off than last season, if he wins his next two games we'll be on the same points as 19 games last season. Perspective like. He's also took our goal difference up to - 8 now, I think it was - 15 or more before he came in which was second worst in the league. I hope he can keep it up, due to our bad start and Burnley, Leicester and Watford doing as well as they are will make it difficult for us to break into the top 6 unless we keep this momentum up then we'll over take them in 5 or 6 games

Getting Ashley Williams to play well, we'll be on the verge of building a statue by the end of the season.

Full credit to Allardyce, he's came in and done what was needed straight away. You can pick up points so easily in this league given the lack of quality outside the top sides.

Going forward we obviously need to play a lot better overall, unfortunately I don't think we've got the players to play any other way for now.

You are right. Not enough good players for all positions at this level. He needs quite some time to sort it all. If we keep picking up points whilst he does then I will not complain.

I know he’s been poor but an in form Benteke would be perfect for us. Deeney on the other hand is worthless compared to DCL and Niasse.
