You can enjoy Everton's improved results at home. But when I go to the match, I want to enjoy that too.

Until now, I have given Everton matches - and all their varied kick-offs - priority over other events. But Everton must offer entertainment to make the trips worthwhile.

So I'll be very interested to learn Big Sam's plans for the future, and to see who he buys in January to fulfil them.
We all want to be entertained mate, but we were turbo turd before Sam turned up...AND we were losing frequently.
Not many fans are lucky enough to see an entertaining team that also wins. I'm just sick of losing, winning games entertains me, and at the present time, I'm not arsed how we do it.

Thing is mate, for the first time since Stoke at home I'm optimistic about actually enjoying the match on Monday. I think we might play some decent football on the deck.

Not personally aimed at you, but how many times have fans walked away from a defeat and thought that was enjoyable because we played well?

Alternatively, there have been games where we've been poor yet with a result you come away relatively content if not pleased with the result.

We obviously all want to see Everton play attractive football, which is enjoyable to watch, but first and foremost that comes when we get results.

Allardyce is correctly focusing on gaining the results we need and then hopefully we will start to see our style of football flourish in time.

I think back to all the times where people claimed that our attacking football under Martinez was some of the best, but we kept drawing or losing.

That wasn't enjoyable so when Koeman first came in, with football that wasn't the best, but gained results it was better. Same here!

Winning 1-0 is more entertaining than losing 4-3. Sorry man.

A lot of people speaking of Allardyce eventually evolving the football we play, I think the best you can hope for is the Moyes style approach. There are going to be times when we're turgid no matter how long he's been here - especially away from home. I do think in the right circumstances however that we will play some decent stuff.

The challenge for Allardyce is to be more than Moyes. Win cup finals and get into the top 4 (on a consistent basis). Personally, I don't think he's capable.

I've never been entertained by a loss in my entire life, there's no such thing in my eyes.
The bar keeps getting raised for Sam. Wins aren't enough now, now he has to win with style and flair..something we haven't done for years, but now it's the new yardstick.
The same fans who've been saying you can't polish a turd, and Guardiola would struggle to get a tune out of this squad, are now demanding we play like Barca.
He's turned a squad of players who were down on their knees, in to an improved team, who are actually winning, and even look happy for once.
He's not going to be here for ever, far from it, so I'm just going to enjoy the ride.

I'd just rather see wins really, not arsed at the moment how they come, in fact I'd happily win a league title playing awful football.

We went through that spell around Christmas in Martinez's last season where we played some brilliant stuff but didn't get the points. Eventually the confidence drained and the second half of the season was abysmal football with abysmal results. Much rather we were winning points and keeping the confidence going than losing in good games of football.

After all, I'm sure Newcastle fans don't look back at those 4-3 games against Liverpool in the 90s with fond memories.

Mentioned it only last week, however it's the fickleness that inhabits our and every other club's fan base. People have short memories it seems...

Only a month ago, people were talking about relegation with an increasing level of probability, if not certainty, and everything was dire and drab.

Now after a few positive results, then large swathes of our fan base are expecting us to miraculously go from having little chances to winning 4-0.

Allardyce needs to be given time to gauge the squad, drill in some of the basics we'd lost and then influence the squad in his own way.
