Well said, Sam. Not football, but if it's alright for the BBC to have on their football page, I'm posting it here: "Everton manager Sam Allardyce has branded the growing number of food banks a "disgrace" and accused Britain of "going back to the Dark Ages"'. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42460641

Yep, top man.

Fair play to him for donating some of his monster wages to the cause.

Tell you what dave when we are in the top 4 with a points in favour of 6 then okay go for pretty.

Sam's percentage football can only take us so far. It certainly won't allow us to compete for a place in the Top Six.

But the choice is not a simple one between winning points and looking pretty. Believe it or not, skillful players and teamwork can actually win you points!

It’ll take us a lot further than what we were doing this season before he arrived.

Im sure Big Sam has a master plan for Chelsea today.About a month ago, i would have been fearing the worst ahead of this fixture. Now though, i really fancy our chances at getting a result. It's been some turnaround.Hopefully i'll be posting the big sams royal blue army hash tag later on!

Watched that & thought pretty much the same thing. Mentioned it to my better half & her first reaction was the irony of paying massive amounts to football players though. I disagreed with her (Brave, I know) because there'll always be people earning more than others no matter what the industry and the fact that he also mentioned that it wasn't just people on welfare but also those with full time jobs that are struggling.

There's always going to be a gap between the haves & the have nots, but it shouldn't take Socialism to make the system more equitable.
