To be honest he has exceeded my expectations so far.

I knew we would be seeing more ultra defensive football but I didn't see us getting something out of the RS and Chelsea this early into Allardyce's tenure.

No complaints from me.

There's no way this brand of football will be accepted. It's just appalling.

Well, not for 11 years perhaps...

but there's an underlying conflict of interest when it's demonstrated, by the hiring and firing of managers nowadays, that results are more important than the football being watched.

Moyes was tolerated when there was no room for ambition. And even Moyes knew how to play better football than this.

Results like that will make it easy for Allardyce to get by until the summer.

There can be little doubt that this tripe will be shown the door at that point though.

The standard of football is terrible, and it underlines for me that anyone still believing that the West Ham game plan was down to BS and not Unsworth has rocks in their head.

If this tripe gets us an EL place, he won't be going anywhere.

Its a more effective kind of tripe than Martinez, Koeman or Rhino was serving up.

I say again 5 games 10 goals scored. When i went to school that's 2 goals per game. That means teams have to score 3 to win.

Id say that was pretty effective tactics.

I like the clean sheets so does Pickford. I'm becoming warm and fuzzy about things.

Not a massive Sam supporter, but surely even the biggest Sam haters must realize, this is not Sam's team. Also he has done very well with players who couldn't defend, couldn't play as a team and on the whole have been bloody awful all season. We aren't a great footballing team I get that, but at least we look like a football team.
