On top of the TV cash we have a lot of the family silver cash to also plough back in that was wasted first time around by your Dutch fraud mate. If we can get cash for Klaassen and Schneiderlin (who despite yesterday's form is an utter waste of space), and make use of the overdraft facility hammered out with the Chinese bank then we can have a bit more to spend than the also ran clubs we compete with.

Moshiri isn’t as rich as half the owners in the premier league. Stoke are significantly richer. Billionaires are awash in the premier league. Manchester City have probably invested more than Moshiri will ever own. Sad but true.

Am I the only supporter who was embarrassed by that performance.

No there are other deluded individuals that think we should try and out play for superior teams.
I’m happy to run with Sam while the wind is blowing in the right direction. I admit that I would like far more expansive football but after the start this is fine for now.

No. He's done a decent job. But he needs to add some decent football or this will end in tears.

He'll be here until May, he may as well try and and make his time here fondly remembered.
I totally appreciate were you are coming from, but I believe he will be here next season as he will finish 7th or even sneak into 6th place and it will be deemed as a success. As for the football for me difficult to get such an imbalanced team to produce a style pleasing to the eye. We lack in so many areas and it will take a considerable amount of money to fix, and I am not sure if the funds will be made available.
I am wiling to give him the chance, but that maybe down to how much I hate Kooeman and wanted rid

I for one enjoy a good defensive performance.

I like good defending as much as I like good attacking football.

Yeah, genuinely get a kick out of a good defensive display. I look forward to one against united. Hope to nick a goal. Really wanna see jose fewmin. It wouldn't be as good if we beat them 3-1 or something. A solid trolling 1 nill shut out and a happy new year.

with only one shot on target in the 97th minute. He'd be blaming everyone, it would be memorable fumage.

I'm looking forward to catch up on some sleep over this holiday break; our game vs West Brom should definitely facilitate that intention.

Mind you, it's all somewhat moot since Bein Sports' pop up channels can only accommodate 3 live 3.00pm kick-offs...and I can predict, with great confidence, that West Brom vs Everton will not be securing a slot (unless, of course, Bein's programming chief is also desirous of a couple of hours shut eye lol)

He will add one or two flair players and we will be fair bit more competitive.

If Bolasie and Barkley were fit (and good ad before) even without a striker we would be much better.

I dunno if it was a bad performance. But I remember being in a bar at 6am in Colombia watching Naismith slot a hat trick against Chelsea. Why couldn't we do that?

What? Chelsea had 25 shots yesterday, 8 of them on target.

But our extraordinary run of good fortune continues. Morata picked up a bizarre booking against Bournemouth. As it was his fifth, he missed the game.

Extraordinary luck, indeed.

But just for balance, why not mention the fact our top scorer and talisman cried off with illness at the last moment?

Go on....I dare you. Just to show those of us whom think you are pushing an agenda are wrong.

Pickford made three outstanding saves, Jagielka kicked off the line twice, and Williams headed against the bar.

So.....in ninety minutes of play, Chelsea only really threatened to score on five occasions (four really as the Jags double clearance was part of the same threat) despite them having 25 shots.

And as one of those shots was from our own player, a fellow can count on one hand the number of close shaves we faced from Chelsea players, if we don't use our thumb.

You confirm my suspicions that, just like at The Pit, despite being penned back for most the game, our goal was not threatened all that often.

We can't expect to escape from performances like that with a clean sheet very often.

No...we can't "expect" it.

But most of us would hope we could.......you appear to be just hoping Sam's run will come to an end sooner rather than later just so you can start saying "I told you so" :p
