Put away the pitchforks till the end of the season at least. If you have ever been in a situation where a dire problem has to be turned around and it is all up to you, then it is encouraging to what see Sam has done. The demand for sexy will just have to wait. And sexy, as we all know, is a minefield. I just hope people aren't expecting a raft of brilliant signings in January or the fume will rise to asphyxiation levels.

Dont be daft, just lack condidence, organisation and leadership.

1 maybe 2 bad apples.
Disagree massively. A lot of our senior players are more then happy to down tools very easily, gutless at best or a horrible gang of wasters at worst. They've done it under Martinez, they did it under Koeman and they did it under Rhino. I don't care how much a player dislikes a manager, to play as half arsed as some of our side have at points under those managers is completely unacceptable. Lots of them have ability but their attitude stinks.

Actually i do agree to a point, ive said it a few times....its the ones that are left from moyes era that are career failures....experts in average.....not bad apples, just career failures.

Joey, you know me, I hate losing especially against no mark opposition like this for the lack of a bit courage.

I am really, really peed off.
Sam is thinking Bournemouth away, the FA Cup tie at the pit, and Man U at home - 3 points today would have been nice but our unbeaten run continues it's. Dire football and DCL looked clapped out before we started - frustrated yes , but our squad is clearly lacking to let WBA pin us back in the 2nd half was sad!

The last clown we had in charge took us to a 4-1 defeat at Southampton. Southampton ffs, the team being steam rolled by all and sundry
That. Loan thumped West Ham 4-0 you can see why big Joe lasted one week with Big Sam - 18 months is not a great endorsement of his credentials, but mission accomplished so far it's a conundrum that the board will decide if the football does not entertain!

I suspect that if the man we want is available, willing and able to join us, Sam will get the final year of his contract paid off as a 'bonus' for delivering what we asked for (safety).

The attacking football is dire at the moment but the defence is solid. Both were dire under Koeman. He's doing exactly what was asked of him and you can't deny that.

Ha ha most of our team injured and nothing upfront what do people want? I don't like seeing our team humiliated on a weekly basis and I bet everyone on here was begging for clean sheets 4 weeks ago. I did not want Sam at this club but he is here exceeding my expectations. Get behind our miracle worker.

I think you are missing one point Dave - SA is still playing with somebody else's squad. The others were not. If the results are the same when he has had the money to mould his squad, I'll join you in demanding better. Right now he's working with what he's got and I reckon privately he can't quite believe what Everton have blown a load of cash on. The recent results are probably a surprise even to him.
There is no way that, given time, Fat Sam would do ANYTHING other than what we see here. He's done it with every team previous to this. People made excuses before he came in that the football would be different because "he's never had the quality of player he has here" and we saw 6 behind the ball against a team that hasn't won in 19.

Wouldn't do anything in January bar a few loans if possible. Don't want to be stuck with the crap he's want to bring in.
