Not sure about him, would like to think if we are still interested that the down turn in Watford’s form is down to our interest rather than his ability.

I think it is his ability.

Watford had lost four out of five before the speculation started.

Hull were home and almost hosed before a disastrous collapse in their final six games doomed them last season.

Massive bullet dodged IMO.

People love giving it the "don't care if it gets results" until their fav's start gettin left out for players who fit a certain style of play

Didnt even try to win that game.

And that us the disappointing thing about today.

We have no right to "expect" a victory away at the second worst team in the league, especially in light of our atrocious away firm dating back almost a year.

But I think we have a right to "expect" a game like that to be targeted as winnable and a bit more thought put into how we could actually win it.

Hearing him descripe it as a a "great point" smacks of the sam of old.....he will not change, and we will not do anything under him.

Delusional.
Really? We were hurtling towards a full blown relegation fight, just like the mid 90s. I think delusional is those that thought it could carry on and we'd be alright because one of our own was in charge. Starting the season with 3 of our back 4 well into their 30s & no proven PL centre forward yet be expected to fight for the top 6 was also delusional. I'm unhappy about Allardyce but very pleased we are now where we are - looking up rather than down.

Remember last season when Koeman was playing for 0-0 draws at West Ham and Middlesbrough. All on Allardyce this though, single handedly dragging this club down isn't he.

I remember Martinez getting battered 3-0 at Sunderland as well the year before Koeman but that doesn't excuse his failings as manager. People are well within their rights to question whether Allardyce is the man we need to take us forward.

Short term he's getting us results, long term there are so many doubts.

None of whom are proven in England and bring with them plenty of risk. LFC appointed Klopp, a man who had won the Bundesliga and had pedigree. Other big clubs are appointing proven managers. 6m+ a year would get most top managers to Goodison so long as the budget for players is appealing too. My choice in the UK would be Benitez. My choice in Europe would be Simeone, but so far we are not in position to attract either, yet one is at a club in a relegation battle. There is a way to go with profile and perception and in the short term none of us can really moan about SA. Today's performance, whilst very poor in an attacking sense, would have been a whole lot worse had we lost.

...and we should have lost, comfortably...
