In his defence the players are clearly not up to standard. There's just nothing about them when we're going forward.

At the moment we're being badly stifled by both of our full backs being so poor on the ball. They offer no outlet/overlap, this especially shows seeing as it's been such a huge part of our game for years.

The midfield is dominated by any team who dares to get at us and consequently we've got no control of the game. Grim times.

Exactly - we just aren’t very good

We were 1-1 with Rooney, Niasse, Sigurdsson, Lennon and Bolasie on the pitch and we barely created a thing. They were better when we went toe-to-toe with them - as people wanted us too.

All those crying about Sam miss the point - we have a mess of a squad and there is no magic formula.

.

I think everyone acknowledges this but is Allardyce the person to turn this around?

Moans he doesn’t get the top jobs

Parks a bus at West Brom and Bournemouth

The problem for him now is if United and Liverpool turn us over with a game against Spurs to come. The season once again goes off the rails and it's down to really poor performances against two sides that frankly were there for the taking.

This team needs a 300m overhaul and any manager comes in must have clauses that state no bus parking no hoof, no sideway meaningless passing, no frequent passes back to gk or get sack without compensation

Cannot wait till he's gone. Our luck ran out and the inevitable blip is here. A nothing manager with no credentials who has won absolutely nothing and lives off creating teams which are the 17th best in the country. A specialist in promoting failure as success.
Definitely should have got Silva instead.

This is what happens with him that people, those who wanted him in particular, forget.

He has a small upturn in fortune then it goes belly up, he then drags them out of the mess he’s put them in and gets labelled a miracle worker.

He rode his luck in almost every game, apart from today
