We were a shambles before Big Same came in, but he got us organized and dragged us right up the table.Obviously 1 point from the West Brom and Bournemouth games is disappointing. The attacking play needs to improve, and im sure there will be signings, to help towards improving that in January. But i will highlight some stats before vacating the stage for the boycotters and the bedwetters!

We played 8 games so far in the Allardyce era and today was our first defeat. In 8 games we have conceded 4 goals. That is an improvement on what was happening under both Koeman and Unsy.Offensively we still have a lot of improving to do, but at least the transfer window will be open in a couple of days. And seeing that i doubt, we can persuade Guardiola to dump Citeh for us, were just going to have to hope that Big Sam, understands that the football needs to improve.Even someone like Guardiola could only do so much with this squad.

Fat Sam was brought in to save us from relegation. An 18 mth contract.

He has done great so far. A more disciplined approach and lots of luck too. But the truth is that Koeman spunked loadsa
money on poorish players and left a dysfunctional squad. Today was a reminder of the size of the job.

One question I have for you, Sam. If you knew Gueye was not going to make the 90 minutes why did you not have Davies come on?
Rooney playing central midfield is not a good plan. Another question: how can professional footballers turn their backs on shots?

I think everyone acknowledges this but is Allardyce the person to turn this around?

I don’t know - he was brought in to take us too safety and we will reassess in the summer I guess. Without new players we are a very ordinary side - whether we play attacking or defensive formations - it will still be a struggle.

But but he got us a point at anfield so is a hero to some on here

Didn't want him and our performances since haven' changed my mind

Results haven't covered over the dross he has served us so far

Worrying giving him money to spend

This is what happens with him that people, those who wanted him in particular, forget.

He has a small upturn in fortune then it goes belly up, he then drags them out of the mess he’s put them in and gets labelled a miracle worker.

He rode his luck in almost every game, apart from today

There has been a lot of luck involved. Swansea and Huddersfield were probably the only games where I'd describe us as being comfortable. I think it's hard with the players at his disposal but there's little to think he's the man to this around.

Exactly - we just aren’t very good

We were 1-1 with Rooney, Niasse, Sigurdsson, Lennon and Bolasie on the pitch and we barely created a thing. They were better when we went toe-to-toe with them - as people wanted us too.

All those crying about Sam miss the point - we have a mess of a squad and there is no magic formula.
That’s because he got the balance all wrong though. Rooney in a midfield two is never going to work, right footed bolasie in front of right footed Martina on the left meaning we had no width on that side. Awful tactics from start to finish.

Has a club he could excel with and put us behind the eight ball with such a stupid setup. He won't last the rest of the season acting like this. I expect Shakespear will caretake before this season ends. Mostly though Koeman has ruined this team from Barkley on down a total disaster.

He understand but he has no clue how to do it. Listen to his post match interview vs West Brom and he literally admit he had no idea why we are so bad at going forward.

He is a limited one trick pony all his entire career and all he can do is get organise without being a threat to any team in the entire [Poor language removed] league
