And yet he’s dropped anyone with an ounce of pace or direct play, rushed 2 players back from long term, played Jagielka and has isolated our striker so much you could literally park 4 buses between him and the rest of the team.

He literally went to 2 teams who haven’t won in donkeys and thought “a point is what I need here”. No intention of even trying to get anything else

I don't disagree at all that being terrified of West Brom and Bournemouth is just not on. But this hasn't started since Allardyce came in. We were getting smacked all over the place before that, we hadn't played well in a single game under Koeman this season. Direct your anger at him, he's shot this season to pieces with that summer transfer window.

I don’t really get why he’s messed around with the defence. Holgate and Williams have developed a superb partnership and have been rock solid.

I get the rotation thing because of the amount of fixtures over Christmas, but Holgate has been our best defender lately and has only been brought in to the team since Allardyce came in so he’s not exactly been over used this season.

Plus he’s 20 years old ffs not 35. Williams I can understand rotating because of his age, but dropping/resting Holgate is bizarre.

Finally everyone realises we have big Sam in charge, remember the club motto everyone, grin and bear it chaps. Only way is up ? (Loads will be saying told you so !!) Last two games shocking meh.

You seem delighted that Big Sam has finally got a loss as Everton manager.

I'm already in from the match because I'm staying with my nephew here in Weymouth.

Big Sam set up our team well and as a unit we weren't that bad overall.

Our only problem is that our players are crap. I can only think of three Everton players who would get into the Bournemouth side.

You can see why we were getting tonked every week under Koeman and Unsworth.

Big clear out needed.

Ffs lads, we've lost one game and are sitting in ninth place, with the same squad of players that Koeman and Unsworth put us in a relegation fight with. At least let's get the January window out of the way and give it month or so to see how things are shaping up.

Indeed, let's wait and see.

Equally, it's much too soon to proclaim Sam as the man who can do no wrong.

Not great and it's now becoming an epidemic that we can't play out, really we should be asking more questions of teams. We could easily lose the next 2 games and their confidence could be shot again and create the sort of atmosphere that we had under Koeman.

I'm not getting on his back yet but he now has a problem that he needs to rectify and whether he can or not will define if he is more than a stop gap in our history.

Not sure what people expected to happen. Allardyce is a dinosaur who's been setting teams up like this for years. He's not turning into Guardiola/Sarri anytime soon. He inherited a truly horrific mess and a decent run of fixtures and better defensive organisation means we're not getting relegated.

We should spend the next 6 months identifying our next manager and give them a full preseason to develop the squad and style of play. I wouldn't give him a penny to spend in Jan, two loans - striker, left back.

Think he was sick...at least for a couple of games.

He wont be here past May.

I think we all need to remain calm and realise that and not get too anti-Sam.

He's not suited to what we require and it was pure panic that saw him appointed. It's not his fault, it's the idiot owner.

Happy to see the next few months out and see what that brings. I bear no ill will to Allardyce. He is what he is.

There are crap teams who are crap despite trying to be better. There are very crap teams who are very crap because they don't try to be better. And, there's us, we are crap because we don't try to be better and we are quite content to be crap because we are comfortably crap and it would be too much like hard work to be anything other than crap so we set up to be crap and hope we don't slip into very crap....

Don’t like him. Never wanted him.
But every time I find myself in here to post negativity I am reminded of the state our previous farce of a Manager did to our list.

We were as good as relegated.

Unfortunately our club is in a nothingness limbo for the next whatever time our real new Manager is employed.
Just don’t give Allardyce too much to spend I feel as his signings will probably not be wanted later.

I can't believe how bad the squad he has been left is. I have watched Everton for 50 years & have never seen a more unbalanced & slow unit as this.
I think it's a miracle we can pick up any points at the moment !!!

I don't get why he rotated the CB pairing. We were keeping clean sheets and getting results.
