I'd give him a striker and a LB and nothing else if it were up to me as they are urgent. The rest can wait because his recruitment record is appalling. Especially with strikers which is a major concern. He ruins every squad he inherits inside 18 months.

Squad was already ruined before he got here.

True, but the way some go on, it’s like we’d played like Barca for years befor he took over.

We were headed well down before he came.

Realism folks. We were being relegated.

Reality Groucho, okay last two games with a touch more enterprise we could have won and had 6 points not one.

So people think we are so bad that we aren’t able to go out and play for the 3 points against relegation fodder? Surely that means we are worse than them and therefore the worst team in the league?

No, 1 point against WBA and Bournemouth isn’t acceptable, and playing not to even beat these teams isn’t either. Allardyce isn’t fooling me.

The cup game against the RS will be interesting, Allardyce got lauded for a defensive masterclass in the game the other week (we were gash, and a bit of luck was more my take on the game) a cup game is different though, we'll have to take more chances and not park the bus.

We will play the same way mate. He's already subtly downplaying our season expectations, he won't do anything which increases the chance of a heavy loss, even if it's the only chance of us winning.

The only player with any class that we have is Rooney.

He's been missing for these two games.

No one else stepped up which reinforces how spineless they all are. There's a £45mill midfielder there, a £30mill defender, a £24mill midfielder who can't get in the squad. None of them are worth the price and fundamentally need better players around them to look half decent.

Think Sam knows this and has asked these players to play forward better, keep the ball better. They aren't. Hence why most should be out in the summer.

Whether Sam is here in the summer is a different argument. But the point that most of these players aren't good enough and need binning isn't.

Lucky and clean sheet Times are over. What now? Buying more defensive players? More defensive midfielders? Or finally start fixing mess in midfield/attack?
But we know what Bog Frog will choose

What would people prefer...having a go and getting smashed 4.0 etc (the minute it gets to 3, that side will fold and it could be a cricket score).

Or get a draw and a replay back at GP?

Make no mistake, the minute we go there with our midfield that has zero creativity and a blunt strike force...we will get massacred.
