What’s the obsession with Marco Silva that everyone has??

Sounds like the only options we had were relegation, allardyce or Silva

Because they were options that were touted.

Feel free to name coaches who would come in and make this atrocious squad that would struggle in the championship any better.

Just watched Fat Sam's post match interview. Nothing is going to change between now and the end of the season. He said he needs a clean sheet to get a result as we can only expect to score one goal per game. He has no ambition and he will take all the credit when we don't get relegated.

Exactly this! No ambition against West Brom, no ambition against Bournemouth, and no ambition again today! Does he care - no, cos’ when it gets to May and we are somewhere between 14th and 8th he walks away with a big fat bonus for keeping us up and as Caolam said he will take all the credit for keeping Everton up! He’s had us over a barrel since we had to go back cap in hand to him and he knows it!
He doesn’t need to show any ambition whatsoever and he gets paid a kings ransom for it as well, he must think all his Christmas’s have come at once!!!

A stupid remark? It's a fact you £&#@£& cretin!

Stop changing your argument. It's the hallmark of apologists when they're called out.
How has my argument changed?? We have had more penalties than anyone in the league, and you’re saying ‘oh but we are 9th for goals’ what exactly is your point? Conversion rate and chance creation play a huge part in a football match.

Also Mods deal with him for name calling once he’s been called out and made to look the fool he is.

Did you see Michael Keane today? You think Marco Silva would get him playing well?
I still think Silva should be our man long term but let's not kid ourselves he will need to sell and replace at least half the squad.

It will probably have to be done just not mid season.

Most managers would have seen Mason Holgate performing very strongly at centre half. And then not dropped him, and then brought him back into the side out of position.

We've played about 3 games in 2 weeks, 2 games within 48 hours. Every side in the league has rotated. We don't have any full backs.

Until we made a change, and dominated for a decent period, until they scored a really good 2nd.

And this how bad it’s become, we’re now accepting a small bit of attacking emphasis as acceptable.

He was the wrong choice, an absolute dinosaur of a manger who talks the same rubbish at every club but fails to accept that his highly defensive tactics are one of the main reasons for our lack of creativity

I've always stated we've gone backwards two seasons under Koeman. Will always stick with that. It'll take another season to rebuild.

Silva should stay at Watford another season and prove himself because he's currently struggling to compete for a full season in the prem.

If he walks away with us finishing mid table I would be quite satisfied.

This team is incapable of playing any other way.

Oh it does. Because it relies on one player at the end of his career.

Everyone else is God awful

He's scored a quarter of our goals this season. We're not as reliant as some think on him.

Things aren't too different to last season scoring wise especially if you factor in we never replaced the sulk. We'll get a cf in and the manager really has no excuses

This is the strangest thing he’s done in my opinion. Unsworth hit upon our best back four. I’m at a loss as to why he changed it.

I am back to worrying about the forty point mark. Spurs away next, zero points. Suddenly that WBA game is big, if we lose that, pressure is on big time.
