How has my argument changed?? We have had more penalties than anyone in the league, and you’re saying ‘oh but we are 9th for goals’ what exactly is your point? Conversion rate and chance creation play a huge part in a football match.

Also Mods deal with him for name calling once he’s been called out and made to look the fool he is.

We are 9th for goals. That is a fact. You do realise you get penalties when attacking?

You're just an apologist.

Probably Marco Silva trying to get us back in the Premier League mate, but I guess you'll be fine with that as long as we're not being managed by Allardyce. Your priorities are shot to pieces Matthew.

Probably if maybe. We don’t know and neither do you. My priorities are Everton And that’s it. I have to stomach Sam and waste my £600 on my season card (which others are using ) until the summer.

I've always stated we've gone backwards two seasons under Koeman. Will always stick with that. It'll take another season to rebuild.

Silva should stay at Watford another season and prove himself because he's currently struggling to compete for a full season in the prem.
e
I guess we will see by the end of the season.

We have gone back more than two seasons. Sad but true. Silva or whoever will need to do something similar to Martinez and reshape the squad but from a lower starting position. He will need time and I don't think we can wait two years for it to begin. Koeman was an awful appointment and Walsh was worse. We should have kept Martinez.

He's scored a quarter of our goals this season. We're not as reliant as some think on him.

Things aren't too different to last season scoring wise especially if you factor in we never replaced the sulk. We'll get a cf in and the manager really has no excuses

Rooney - 10
Sigurdsson - 3
Gana - 3
Niasse - 5
DCL - 3
Baines - 2

We've also had what, 9 penalties.

Tells me that Wayne Rooney is our key player and everyone else is either average or not cutting in. Which is everyone else attack wise.

I am back to worrying about the forty point mark. Spurs away next, zero points. Suddenly that WBA game is big, if we lose that, pressure is on big time.

Sam always whirl winds into a club with a few results, then plummets them down the table before miraculously saving them

He gets all the plaudits for being a miracle worker. Yet everyone seems to overlook the mess he put them in.

Is that all you want from Everton to stay 9th? The argument I’m making is to improve our side we need to add goals and creativity which the current players don’t have enough of.

No mate, it really is that black and white. Nobody could have saved us except Sam and his fake fact disciples

I know, we need dinosaur, pub league tactics.

Imagine if one these other managers tried to have us turning possession over quicker and winning the ball back in the oppositions half. Instead of having 9 men behind the ball at West Brom and Bournemouth

You literally have no idea if that’s true or not. Just pure speculation because you wouldn’t know how they’d setup, how they’d utilise the players, if they’d be able to get anything out of certain players.
There is no available manager I would trust more right now to get a tune out of these farts and keep us in this division until we regroup in the summer.

Allardyce waved the white flag with vigour when 1-0 down, and chasing the game he brings on a defensive midfielder for an attacking player, Allardyce's mentality in one with that sub.
That's just not true. He brought on Mccarthy to stop Pogba and the rest from playing through us at will. It turned the game in our favor and we should have got an equaliser.

Is it that different to other clubs was my point? Most clubs will post similar %age breakdowns.

Clearly we need more potency up there but stop playing defensively and this squad will more than likely post a very similar GF total to last season where we were (guessing) more dependent upon one man
