The point was is that they're mis-managed.

But if you think Niasse and DCL are better than Zaha and Benteke, that's fine.
Mismanaged you say? Now that is interesting. They were obviously being mismanaged last year when they only scored 22 in 20 games under Allardyce then. I mean we’re the worst team there’s ever been ever ever ever and we’d definitely be relegated from the conference with this squad and yet we’d managed 24 in our first 20 games of the season, so he must have really held them back don’t you think? Or could it be that you’re just being incredibly melodramatic and making out that things are much worse than they actually are?

Thankfully Sam had a nice bit of luck for about 80% of his games. Otherwise it would be well worse and we’d be further into the season

It was so fortunate that Chelsea hit everything apart from the net, Yellow Tooth’s ego perked up, West Brom had a crap striker and the woodwork at St James Park held firm

So we've literally only been fortunate since Allardyce took over? We weren't fortunate against Watford, Bournemouth at home, City away, Palace away and Brighton away too? We should have been bottom under Unsworth if you want to talk about luck.

I’m not saying that at all, I’m saying that the miracle has had a large bit of fortune to cover up all the amazing work he’s done

After watching yet another game Everton don't perform it's got me thinking, from word go this sesason it's seemed like the players haven't synced at all, Koeman failed miserably, Unsworth didn't do much better, Sam has done better basically by loading everything in a defensive system which has produced ugly football. But is the fix easier than most think, look at the squad as a whole most players aren't bad at all and some are very good players, I'm thinking perhaps it's only say 3 players away from filling in the voids to make it all sync together, it might just be as simple as that. These players haven't turned terrible but they just seem unable to play together as a team, so basically 3 players may complete the jigsaw then we may improve dramically. This is just a thought perhaps Tosun could be the first piece and sam should be knocking the owners door down to get Nzonzi in too second piece, then a LB the third piece.

Like you are right now?

Again, if you think we're this free flowing attack minded side being held back by a "dinosaur" after one month of management, that's fine.

Sam had one job at Palace and that was staying up. He did that. How he did it doesn't matter.

He turned up here to a squad that had conceded more goals than Swansea, Palace, and Newcastle (all still relegation threatened). Put us on an 8 game unbeaten streak.

Judge him at the end of the season. Not after 1 month.

I take it everyone has covered todays crap lineup, tactics and subs yeh?

Not entirely sure why he thinks we have the luxury to rotate our defence around when we have only just rectified the solidity of said defence!

Or why young lads like DCL and Kenny cant muster the energy to play 2 games within 3 days.

Worst of all was the subs today when the game was within reach. The right changes and we could have maybe got something
